It was Taran Killam (from SNL or something?) He was pretty great. You can watch all the clips, they're uploaded. It was definitely an incredible production; Ellen Greene is simply amazing!

I think she's missing the point. Yes, these seem like ridiculous goals—especially by modern standards—but they're not a joke to the character. When you reduce the role to a caricature, you sacrifice the value of the song.
