+Frank Steen Perhaps when they work for the government. Things are quite different at Verizon. Productivity is pushed and discipline is used for those who don't measure up. On top of that difficulty, our workforce needs new employees to replace retirees so mandatory overtime is a near constant. We're also on strike to stop outsourcing and losing the benefits and job security that we have. Are there lazy employees? Absolutely, but that's present in any work.

+Frank Steen Really, and you know this how? That was time lapse and merely one portion of a whole job. A single tech gets less than two hours per job. I wonder how long it took TWO of them...

+GoldCoastRay Crazy statements. WE are NOT all Lawyers and accountants. 60% of the people that have passed through the training courses are band 8s and lower from right to work states down south. We arent being given a choice on whether to work an EWA assignment out of state. We have no union to fight our battles. We either go to these EWA assignments god knows where and deal with the harassment from the union cunts or we get let go.Regardless you were NOT a pro your first week on the job and im sure you went through more than a crash course. The fact that they can do half the job you guys did is telling.

+Tom Moe If this WAS their Job...... but they are lawyers and accountants that have a few days training over a year ago and thrown into the field as "Highly Trained Replacements" do you think they are ready for that job?...just relax there buddy...send them back to their desks, give us a fair contract and we will be glad to do this job.......
