I haven't calculated and accurate value for my average mpg (would rather not know), but I'd say its around 14. My van has a 4.3 v6 and an overdrive gear, which helps on the freeways. Initially, out of factory, it got 17 in town and 20 hwy. Considering the time and additional weight put on it, I'm sure its not getting that anymore. I've had some minor mechanical issues. I had to replace the radiator right after I bought it. And I ran into an electrical issue with transmission torque converter thingy majigger, which was remedied by just unplugging it. I just replaced the heater core (started to leak). Considering its over 20 years old, these things are to be expected. I was able to do all the work myself as the mechanics weren't too difficult. And on the upside, parts are insanely cheap (brand new heater core for 30 bucks, radiator for 100). The ease of repair and cheap cost was the biggest deciding factor for me buying a domestic van. Westfalias are rad until you have to replace the motor...

no where to store them, but they fit really well, give me a good sitting
position.. im really happy with them thus far...

IT will stay original. nice job!
