Almost forgot:  Insulin is a liquid, comes in a vial and is injected. It is not a PILL, let alone a "peaceful" one.

What?! You and I both need to watch this again if insulin was mentioned, bc I assumed he was getting what the "Peaceful Pill" Doctors in Oregon and Australia were using. In Oregon, it is Nembutal,which was a common drug given for sleep, and the one that killed Marilyn Monroe, supposedly by "accident" back in the '60s. In fact, it was one that was most often found in people that overdosed, often not their intent. However, for people like the man, me, and others in so much agony that life has become absolutely unbearable, I would hope to be able to find it somewhere.  And btw, Insulin is legal and can be bought over the counter in most states. People can easily die from an insulin overdose but I am not about to contribute info on that. There was a huge story in the media years ago about a very rich lady (old money) named Sunnie, who's German husband was charged with her murder, by insulin injection. They made a movie about it, with Glenn Close and Jeremy Irons. Good movie, terrible subject. 

Out of curiosity how can one murder another with insulin? How does it kill?

+Caleb Miller You also well-pointed out the ridiculousness of the idiotic statement made by Tania H. If you wanted to use a drug method to murder, just buy some insulin. You can do that without an RX. Heck, ya can even order it  up online. Not meant to give info that's already out there, but meant simply as an observation. 

+Caleb Miller Thx for a very well put statement that is both truth and gave me a giggle, all at the same time. I am one of those severely disabled people who has a brain that (still works, thank God/Goddess)needs a constant flow of materials that help me to laugh at myself, through it all. Laughter, is a powerful "pain pill", however, it's all gotten so hard, I have to have the option we're all commenting on here, as a ticket out of Hell.

Be much easier to use a car genius. But it's stupid arguments like yours that make it difficult to pass laws for legalization.

 +Talia H it IS legal here in the USA, you just need a Dr who will rx it, and none do anymore(unless you find a compassionate one that you can trust, like the Dr that's helping those who suffer in Oregon).  It was a common sleeping pill back in the day, and many suicides, accidental or not, were commonly found to be from an overdose of Nembutol, or "Reds" as they were called in street drug lingo.  Marilyn Monroe died from "a sleeping pill overdose", supposedly.  They did find Nembutol in her system, at least that's what the papers said. Who really knows?  The CIA, perhaps? Oh, and just some fyi, it is a barbiturate. A "Compounding Pharmacy/Pharmacist" is the place to start asking, if it were me (I am severely disabled). as the are true chemists, so well trained in pharmaceuticals they know what they're doing, and, keep such substances and many others that they order in big gallon jars in powdered form.  A pharmacy I used to fill at has one of those, with the compounder working behind a big visible window I could see him easily through, along with a big shelf of those big gallon jars. One day he was dipped up cup fulls out of one labeled "Fentanyl". God, how I wished I had one of those that day. But, at least now, my Pain Mngmnt Doc writes plenty for me, bless her. I'm still wanting to have that option out, though. Bad days, are so bad I do not want to have to relive them over and over again. That was not a "suicide threat', but simply my thoughts.

It seems like a really inefficient way of murdering someone.
