Lion Rampant 28mm Medieval Wargame Rules from Osprey Wargames
This is a new rule set for me and its totally blown me away with its simplicity. The guys have been play testing it and successfully got me hooked! Fast, fluid, and ...
+StormchaserKnight Yes this is odd. Does +Yo ADHD have some kind of skin disease or offensive tattoos? I mean this channel is called Yo ADHD and not Yo Mysophobia.
Thanks for the nice comment and video suggestion. I better get painting my Fireforge men for the vid then :)
Lion Rampant(28mm) : Normans retinue overview.
Bit more rambling, sorry, still stretching my fledgling YT wings. I'll experiment with camera angles, and I must ANNUNCIATE. Gosh I didn't realise what a ...
Seeing as these are Normans they well and truly deserve their balls shaved
off! Anyway, ribaldry, wit and euphemisms aside great to see another guy
doing Normans now Von Ketteringham has moved on to Bolt Action. Great to
have you on board Didge.
Nice 1 Didge, They will look great, I'm very interested in these as I'm
also contemplating some similar purchases I would have flung the clock out
the window 5mins in
nice vid, really like the minis they're a good selection of sculpts, I
daresay the glue will hold the crossbow tops well enough, it's a light
enough piece that they shouldn't be under too much strain. I'm curious as
to what you think about the ruleset, I've been curious to pick up some
skirmish set but mostly what people talk about is the Saga dark age rules.
Have you played many games at the club and were they easy enough to pick up?

+Didge H cheers, sounds a bit like Bolt Action in that regard, a regular troop is a regular troop and a rifle is a rifle regardless of nation or make. I do find myself turning to simpler rulesets that focus more on speed and gameplay than looking countless layers of rules up, so I think I'll go ahead and order a copy of it now and give it a whirl. Thanks for the response.Gerr
+Gerrcinn It's a very uncomplicated simple ruleset. Everyone has access to the same troop types, so a man at arms is a man at arms whichever country he comes from, whatever armour it's modeled with. Speed of gameplay is the essence of the rules. Members had already been playing saga for a few years, this ruleset came to the club beginning of the year, hence the Dark Age theme rather than medieval, though that might follow. I've played it once, there is another LR night planned for beginning of June, which is why I've prioritised it. I think the basic unfussiness of it is appealing for club nights. All the best.
Hi Frazer have been watching yours and Ringo's You Tube channels for two months now and have got hooked. First set of Perry's Napoleonics arrived today. Is there a specific colour chart that gives the paint colour codes for all the units involved. Thanks for all the info in the videos.
