An Enormous Moon on I-5 Over Fort Lewis, WA. I shot this while on my way to Seattle. It's amazing! Shot on: 10/26/07 at about 6:30 PM.

The funny thing is - I am in the middle of an argument with a bunch of
people who all say that the moon does not get this large. There is even all
kinds of scientific information on the internet discussing how its all an
optical illusion and a person is being fooled when they think it gets much
larger than normal. But that is all a bunch of garbage because this video
is exactly what I am talking about. I see this occur about once every two
years or so

@bobsutube I wish I had been able to get the camera out sooner. It was a
bit larger prior to me taping it here. But you are right. I also see this
every couple of years. Around here, it's only at this size for 30 minutes
or so. I figure many people probably just miss it. I happened to be lucky
enough to have a camera and be out at this time. If it is an optical
illusion, it fooled my camera as well. I hope this video helps your
argument some.

that. however Mnt. raineer is breathtaking on a clear sky...when we have a
