Wigan resident Claire Hannah tweeted her disappointment last year that her local Tesco didn't have a Christmas hat on it. So we decided to kick off the festive ...
I went to tesco the other day and the middle aged checkout woman was very
rude to me, asked me very personal questions about my job and what i was
doing that evening, perhaps tesco could track her down and unemploy her
horrible disposition, needless to say i'll be using the self serve check
outs from now on.
This doesn't surprise me in the slightest: I had a similar experience in Sainsbury's in Sydenham back in July. Complained to 'management' and received the stock apology but what I thought I had a right to expect was a personal apology from the actual checkout girl herself - in situ - the response I got was "Oh no, it's not our policy to do that"Well why not? If I, the customer, had given the extensive verbal I got from this vile young girl, sure the management would have called security and had me ejected from the shop forthwith. One rule for them and another for the rest of us! And we're meant to actually pay good money for this treatment? I don't think so! Apparently there's no such concept as 'personal responsibility' any more, which is why I go into big supermarkets as little as possible, and use small specialist shops instead.
I am sure these marketing adverts ain't a waste of money and bring in more revenue than not making them would... great advert it was so good I came on you tube to watch it again
So the human race dies, then? For the record (and only because you appear to be thick) I'm only into big girls (ie over 18) but I would add in my case over 30 as I'm not a spring chicken! Sorry to disappoint you.......Why would you assume otherwise anyway? Because I like classical music? Jeez, you are one fucked up motherfucker!
+rosscore So suddenly I'm not after little boys, but little girls, eh?Good God, You're scraping the barrel now! You're not even worth pissing on if you were burning to death.
+rosscore Listen Michael/Ross whatever your name is - you need to get a grip. The only cock I like is my own, and ladies seem to appreciate it. Go suck your own tit substitute and try to work out where your life went wrong.
+rosscore When you have something interesting or valuable to add to the discussion, please then (.....and only then) get in touch. You working-class wanker.
+Michael Eade You make a completely fatuous point when you say "..if no one covered music or remade it then music will never change>" Supposing we don't want it to change? Classical music has always evolved anyway, without the help of a dumbing-down drum beat. You also seem completely to have missed the point I made about referring to something as a 'song' or a 'piece of music', so I suspect that your education is probably completely lacking in this respect, so I'm afraid that your viewpoint is not really valid.
+TheTradWarrior If no one covered music or remade it then music will never change, inspiration is taken from classical music all the time for example Randy Rhodes playing vivaldi on a guitar or Trans Siberian Orchestra using Nutcracker. Now i digress, it does not always work someone may use moonlight sonata and it might not work out or someone may cover a modern track, but at the end of the day it keeps the original song alive.Besides no one is forcing you to listen to them, i have not told you to find the song that is still entirely up to you.
+Michael Eade (Sigh) You just don't get it, do you?One pop musician 'covering' another's material is not a thing I'm interested in or want to comment upon, but taking a classical composer's material and bowdlerizing it with guitars and a drum beat is the mark of philistinism, not flattery.Besides which, do you really mean 'beethoven songs' (sic) or did you mean pieces of music by Beethoven? There is a difference: a song is only a song if it has words and is meant to be sung, as opposed to being played.
+TheTradWarrior This is not the only song they have covered, they did beethoven songs also, besides i can argue with you for hours but all i will say instead is:"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"
+Michael Eade " This is Nutrocker by TSO." Clever, I suppose, to subtly change the name.It doesn't, however, change the fact that the melodies were written by Tchaikowsky.
+TheTradWarrior Now i digress, the original version of "nutcracker" was written by Tchaikowsky but this is nutrocker by TSO, and in my opinion a fantastic song, besides i have never really liked the original version despite the fact that i at times listen to classical music.
