lol..... the filipino workers were protesting way before these guys.... but
was over looked since there weren't many of them...... then the mexicans
joined in then.... the filipinos were somewhat consumed in the flood of the
mexicans protesting..... ---- we studied this in US History...... so this
is a sad documentary..... there is no protest without the filipinos to jump
start and give courage to the mexicans....
The Filipino farm workers were involved in electing Cesar as President of
the UFWA. The Filipino leadership recognized that Cesar was better trained
at moving their effort forward. The battle was as much a civil rights
effort.as some would like to believe a racial conflict.
