WEDDING PLANNING UPDATE | EPISODE 7
This wedding planning update episode involves DIY centerpieces, wedding decorations from Amazon, and invitations! I ordered table linens, and we have ...
in French-Canadian culture we have something similar called the sock dance
where an older unwed sibling of the bride or groom dance in fun funky socks
(usually in the colors of the wedding so the bride and groom can keep them
as a keepsake) and guests give them money that goes to the couple.
Basically the same as the dollar dance but the bride doesn't have to be the
one dancing, she can just stand back and enjoy the show lol
Jess, about the dollar dance. Your comments made me crack up by the way. It
doesn't have to be just for the bride. When I got married my husband and I
both danced with friends and family for money. LOL Everyone formed long
lines behind us, and danced with both of us. We got a lot of big bills from
it and made a killing. So keep that in mind. It was so helpful for
us moving into a new home and of course the honeymoon. :)
+ladidi5222 We are both money conscious. Even though our parents are helping us pay for parts of the wedding, we still don't want their money to go to waste on things we don't necessarily need or want.
I love watching these updates. Jess, have you ever thought of starting your
own business either wedding planning or doing wedding decorations? You are
so creative and the ideas you come up with are so unique and beautiful. You
amaze me with your talent. You could buy one of those fancy sheds you were
looking at and use it for your home studio or office.
That's a great idea!!! I love watching these Wedding updates also!!!
WEDDING PLANNING WEEKEND!
We spend the weekend wedding planning and making DIY wedding decorations for the centerpieces and gift table! We have so much fun on April Fools Day, ...
+Carissa Saelee Good for you! Walks are some of my favorite forms of exercise. Steady low rate cardio is so good for you! Have you done much planning yet?
+Sara Samardžić Thank you, Sara! We're so glad you enjoyed it! Nobody pranked Austin!
WEDDING PLANNING UPDATE | EPISODE 6
This wedding planning update episode involves centerpiece vase ideas and wedding decoration ideas! I have a nice drink display idea! I had another weird ...
I feel ya so much on all of it, Jess! And yeah, wedding dreams are the most
emotionally confusing things! Did you know calligraphy before or did you
learn for invites? I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing for that soon!
Ahhh!
I've been writing Save The Dates for three weeks!! I'm glad I have them to be a sort of practice run for the invitations :P Oh, also, I love the shirts!!
+Just Laura Ugh, wedding dreams will be the death of me xD I've always been pretty good at hand writing things. I picked it up when I began learning cursive and have always enjoyed it! Just a tip though..it takes a long time haha. And my invites didn't get sent out quite as soon as I wanted because of it lol
I'm sure you can find more of those bowls for your centerpieces at dollar
tree. Ooh, maybe you can get a metallic paint and spray paint them, maybe
so they have a "cloudy" appearance. And also, have you tried hot glue? You
can put dots of hot glue on the glass prior to spray painting it for a cool
look. I saw that idea on the YouTube channel "what's up moms". Look into
them, specifically Brooke who does the DIY's. You'll appreciate them. She
has flower arrangements and so much more.
+calmdownandliveitup I looked at dollar tree, and unfortunately they don't have them there! I wish! I've considered spray painting some things a rose gold/copper color to go along with the theme!
Say yes to the dress! Jess finally had her special moment wearing her custom wedding dress.Planning a wedding is a lot of work, and this week we talk about ...
Don't tell Lauren, but I totally saw Lauren in her dress before she walked
down the aisle. I'm putting this fact on YouTube because it's where she'll
never find it.
I felt the same way registering for silverware 9 years ago now I buy my
silverware from Ikea can you even register there? my tip is to register for
anything you might remotely want to buy at target because they will give
you a discount there after on the things that are on your registry so like
maybe you don't want an x box for your wedding really but you might want
one soon you should register for it ANYHOW or like computer stuff or head
phones or movies just put it on there
I don't know if you guys were planning on going on a honeymoon but
HoneyLuna is a good place to register. Your guests can pay for activities
to do on your honeymoon. Its a great alternative to getting actual gifts.
Good luck with your planning!
