Please aim for better sound next time. I ordered a 2017 Sti Limited this
past week as well. I got my VON number right away, do you know how to check
for updates using the VON?
I'm using a GoProHero3 but will keep that in mind! Truck has a lot of drone! Lol. Maybe I'll use headphones or a separate mic. Subaru said they will contact me when they get the VIN. I'll check in with them when I get back from Mexico next weekend about the VON and tracking! Thanks for watching!
Back to Whites on the 2016 Subaru WRX
Back to my white wheels and the summer tires and a quick recall discussion. Ahhhhhh, feels so good. Enjoy! See below for more videos on my own 2016 ...
I just brought in mine last week as well for the recall and they are
ordering the part so they will be calling once it shows up. I figured have
them replace it since it's under warranty.
You're back! I've missed your vids. Just really chill like were actually
talking in person lol I'll be making some videos a little more on the reg
soon but anyway, what brand of wheels were these again? they look like the
work emotions maybe? Take care!
Hi Lou
for a bit of color try colorlugs.com. They have slip-on soft plastic color
lug
covers which are easily removed ( with their simple tool) when its time to
switch wheels.
Red might bring some life to those wheels
Enjoy!
+DrDante221 Very much appreciate the link and info. :) Wish they had my yellow color. Their yellow is a bit off from mine. Still a nice cheap option....thanks much.
+LastHumansGarage Appreciate the kind words man. Hope you are well. So miss your vids too...got tot find time to catch a few when im chillin in my hotel each week. Be cool.
im not bothering with the recall. i will buy the $30-$40 part myself and install it in 20 mins if i need it. I'll go price it now and edit this post. OK... its a $65 part... still, i'd rather pay it than leave it at the dealer for a day and be without my car. 14462AA571 ; 14462AA570
I called my dealership. They inspect it to see the date of the part. (I
believe April is the bad batch). And if you need to replace it they order
the part using you VIN. At least that is what my dealership told me. I'm
going in Monday for my inspection.
Why does it take to long for the shipping to arrive at the dealer ship and
how long is the wait ? Has the 2017 sti have any changes from the 2016 sti?
Man nuked- the differences are a new headliner, lower interior noise, blind spot monitoring, reverse cross traffic monitoring I believe for auto WRX only and one other Saftey feature I can't remember, motortrend has an article on all of it. No difference on styling, I'm not even sure if the wheels have a new design, probably not.
very nice. got my aem intake installed today and that was my one complaint
is it does not replace that one hose. works well and sounds amazing though.
+LastHumansGarage don't see how it's pointless with the hood closed that area is sealed. My intake Temps are 2 degrees less than they were with the stock box. I was concerned as well but I have not seen any rise in Temps at all.
+Michael Lilly Thats one of my stage 1 goals, now that i made the final choice (for now) and removed my j-pipe for once and for all. Maybe an intake. I def don't mind intake sounds as much as exhaust sounds.
