Ben, I have been in the Seattle bell museum. I used to be a panel switchman in st. Louis and then a step by step switchman in Portland Oregon. I got my start as a 3cl cordboard operator in Portland many years ago, in fact the section that you have there in the museum is the one that I have worked on. It came from the marble palace at 817 s w oak in Portland. At the time of removal the company was a t & t instead of the old pacific n w bell telephone co. Good memories, I still remember the names of many operators, supers and the chief operator.
