There is a name for the power you have described. It is called being a sponge, coming into contact with another vampire allows you to copy their power and use it for yourself. I hope I helped :-)

Alice can see the future.Jasper can manipulate the feelings of other people around him.Edward can read minds.Bella is a shield so that she can protect other people and herself from other powers.Carlisle can control himself better (I guess).Emmet is just very very strong. (I mean, with dem muscles though)I don't know what Esme's and Rosalie's are because it doesn't say in the book nor the movie.

Esme i dunno, carlisle can limit his lust for blod better Than others, alice can look into a possible future, alices boyfriend(dont remember name) can influence how people feel, edward can read peoples thoughts,rose has her looks and emmet is really strong. And now bella is a shield.

This strange film... My gripes with it.. Y did Jacob hav to show his wolf form to Charlie... And Jacob couldn't get with bells so he gets with her daughter... Weird film.. And it moves so slow... U can tell it was made for girls.. I'm a guy... I bought whole saga for £12 good deal but dunno off its worth watching again.... Though i do love Alice... As a character in the film.... And as a girl... She's so pretty and beautiful and u gotta love her accent...im British... Did irana die at the end??

Of course the opinion matters but if they believe differently, and stick to what they did to begin with (because the Twilight franchise is a BIG one despite all the criticism), that's there choice. When you write a book/produce a movie, then you can do what you feel is right with it. No one is gona take EVERYONES advice on how to do something. If you made a movie about Frankenstein and he always smiled and was happy, and everyone hated it, you wouldn't change it, because it's not what YOU want

something that is made up to begin with cannot be slandered because more than likely what we perceive as the original could be a "slandering" of something else. Vampires weren't always scary monsters, in fact tales of vampires date back to ancient times...and some cultures believed them to be strange angels who actually had the power of healing. That isn't scary at all. If anything, turning them into monsters was slandering...but it's, because you can make up MAKE BELIEVE

you see though that's an issue because VAMPIRES ARE NOT AND WILL NEVER BE REAL. There is no such thing as a REAL vampire. And the vampires you believe to be the REAL ones were made up from earlier stories and tales that told of vampires that were ACTUALLY GOOD!
