can be done as a Christmas gift for the family or relatives. Greetings from

I recently purchased the jump ring cutter jig. I haven't used it yet. I
have all the tools except for the coil wedge/chock. Is there somewhere to
buy that piece alone? Also, some audio with this video would be really
nice. I'm not quite sure where I place my clamps. Thank you!

Cutting Wooden Spirals on the Lathe: Homemade Router Jig
"Crazy" homemade router spiral cutting jig for turning wooden spirals, or barley twists on the lathe. This is part 2 where I will be performing several test cuts with ...
+LetsBuildIt Thanks. A good question. These spirals have a multitude of potential uses, from chair legs, to stair banisters. I'm planning to make a table with the hollow spiral!
Thanks for the ideas alex. Iam now build a dedicated router lathe myself
but with longer travel for walking sticks and tall lamps. Good luck with
the exams
+Donald Ewing Yes. It's certainly an option, probably an easier one too! I simply didn't have the equipment to drill a hole that deep. Drilling straight deep holes, even on the lathe, can be a little tricky, so I made do with what I had to hand. Thanks for watching, Alex. :)
+Norbury53 Thanks! It's a Draper brand router, which I found online (most likely eBay). The bases it comes with are a bit plasticy, but the router seems good enough.
+sfosnot85They are generally hard to find everywhere outside of North America (especially so in Australia) - no one seems to know why - it appears to just some arbitrary commercial decision. In most cases monolithic plunge routers are very versatile the one area they fall down in is when you need to mount them somewhere.

Hi Sara. Great video. Can you tell me where you bought these blue flat
hexagonal beads? they are so perfect for this jig projects. Also, I was
really impressed with how clever is the structure of the necklace toy are
wearing. Did you make it? If so - do you have a video on it, or a plan to
make one in the future? Thank you so much for all you do,.Yaffa
