Sometimes you have to rip down walls and ceilings to expose the fire . These can be replaced . Fire on the other hand has the potential to consume the entire structure . NEWARK

+Kirk Wilson ,You have no idea what you are talking about.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The fire was between walls and partisions and ceilings and second floor, they know exactly what they needed to do to contain and put out fire before it spread. !!!!!!!!!!!!They saved 140 year old structure.

+Joanne Jurgensen oh I gotcha, most people don't even realize that Middletown and surrounding towns has the largest volunteer fire dept in the world with a lot of area to cover, they need more updated equipment in my opinion
