I literally Got stuck playing this game because "I wasn't customizing my car the way the game wanted me too" like WTH I don't feel like throwing terrible looking neon lights and all this other rice burner style crap on my car seriously I just wanna race and have fun and customize my car the way I like it without the game coughing me on what I should put on my car

This guy should get fired from this channel. Not just because of him not liking this game, but how rude and insulting he is. Like shit we get it, it's not your kinda gasket, but you're slandering so many people just because you don't care for street racing and cars.

This is really, REALLY insulting, I hate it when people call car fans "d-bags", that's like me calling Pokemon fans "morons", just because I don't like it, doesn't give me the right to slander and insult people.

+James McGill i agree.. You said it short and consise but personally this gets to me, becouse Underground 2 is my favorite racing game and together with Most Wanted, Underground 1, carbon, this has been played 100+ hours and hours. About this review, it has a very VERY negative undertone and it does not get a objective insight like Mark would have done it. Far worse games has been reviewed on the CGR show but as i know none of them has gotten more slandered. And it's fans slandered alike. "Douchebags" "just looking for boobs" "no story" "bad music" "full of naked chicks" .. And then undertow dares to say "i have not so much to say about it", NO SHIT you just had like 4 minutes of just saying negative shit..Apart from being a negative review and slandering both fans and the "underground"-franchise alike, this brings negative feedback to the whole CGR channel. I know that this is just one review and one game, but the fact is that it was one of the most purchased game of the Need for Speed franchise, has gotten positive reviews before and alike "God Hand" this was just unnecessary in my opinion. Cannot look at Derek the same way as before,

+James McGill Undertow has been shut down recently. Nobody at Undertow will do any future reviews. It's over. Only person that's gonna do CGR reviews is Mark himself on the main channel.

Derek is easily my favorite game reviewer. He's entitled to his own opinions. But, for me, NFSU2 is in the upper echelon of racers. The customization, soundtrack, and gameplay are all spot on. It feels like a true video game adaptation of underground racing movies such as The Fast And The Furious and even customization shows like Pimp My Ride. Yo dawg, I heard you like in-game advertisements! Even those are done well and takes me back to high school in the mid-2000s when things like Cingular, TAG body spray, Campbell's Soup At Hand, and RAZR were all in the modern lexicon. Those days, while not long ago, are gone. I guess if you don't have nostalgic ties to this game, you may not like all the advertising and some of the nuances. However, in my opinion, NFSU2 is a gem that needs no apologizing for it's silly use of street slang and over the top style. Hell, if it wasn't for this game, none of us would know the greatness that is Skindred! Even newcomers are sure to appreciate the gorgeous graphics, balanced gameplay, fun race types and detailed car customization. This is a game that has aged gracefully, much like Mario Kart 64. I'm sure I'm not the only one longing for the day that EA and Criterion will bring us a 3rd installment in our beloved series.
