I'm looking to upgrade my wheels, I've been using 78mm 80a wheels, would
you recommend these for cruising or should I stick to the ones I got?
Thanks!
+Chiara Squillace for cruising I don't know if you'll feel a heap of difference, but it might make life a bit easier for rolling over small rocks and stuff. If you could without getting wheelbite for cruising I'd definitely look inot getting either bigger or softer wheels however- generally can make the ride a bit smoother. Hope that helps!
You really wore them down in less than a day?? can you actually still ride
'em with any advantage or is it now just like a usual wheel? I wanna buy
'em too but when I spend so much more money on a wheel, I wanna ride it
longer than a day!
+Jdsjy23 yeah they did wear down fairly quickly- but in all honesty not like ridiculously fast for a wheel of their durometer. As they're 78a, the thanes super gooey and wear is a result of that; other 78a wheels for eg. abec 11s classic thane 78a wheels wear down much faster, so the entire wheel will last you a while. In saying that however, the grooves aren't particularly deep whilst the wheels may last you as long as any other standard 78a wheel, the grooves will unfortunately be gone relatively fast.
+Tevin Say Wheels like otang morongas, cult classics and even some of the 81a abec 11 classic thane stuff I think I was riding before I shot this video. For easier sliding wheels cult classics and morongas are probably good choices.

+Purlyfe Hello I usually don't read books that are for young adults, but I see that yours is Middle Grade and it sounds interesting. Not to mention, I find that Middle Grade novels are usually written well. I see the release date is for June. Send it to me and I'll do my best to do an honest review here on my channel for the release date. Go to my wordpress blog where you can find my email. My blog is www.browngirlreading.com
Thank you, thank you for the great reviews. I am acquiring books for when I
retire, from all walks of life and authors. I am definitely getting the
short stories, Before you Suffocate.... and the Forty Acres. Plus, I
subscribed to your channel.
My book club read The Twelve strikes of Hattie and I missed it so still
need to read the book. The consensus was that the book was just "okay" but.
I agree with you and am going to give it a try. On another subject, Oprah
just chose Ruby for her book club pick so that is going to bring many, many
more readers to that author. It will be interesting to see what the mass
public think of it.
I know a lot of people won't read it or they'll start to and then put it down. we'll see. This isn't the first time she's picked books that aren't readable to the masses.
I am anxious for book 2 also and what she will come up with for her characters. You are right about the power of Oprah but I bet a lot of people will have a hard time reading that book. I really liked the book but it put me through hell to read it.
I still don't think Ruby is for the masses. way too depressing... But it's Oprah. The masses will read anything for her. I just want Cynthia Bond to put out her second book soon because I won't be rereading Ruby again just to read book 2. In the end it's good for Ms. Bond!
