Let me show you how to easily setup your DJI Phantom 4's camera and achieve great looking footage. Next to that I will explain what ISO, shutter, framerate et ...
Ive flown the phantom 4 twice now and every time I upload the films every
second or so it jumps not nice its ruining my shots and is looking
choppy ; ( how can I film with a nice continuous flow? have a I pressed a
setting or something?
+Joshua Smith thanks for that yes I now found MP4 setting it's working better now although my PC is a little temperamental being an older overloaded I Mac so I think that's what it was so uploaded a tester on you tube & it turned out okay + had a hilarious crash to but lucky, will upload that soon ha ha, but all is okay so phew it can be nerve wracking flying these things but great fun, im getting there.
+Creative Films That sounds like it may be your computer that is the issue. Especially if you are filming in 4K. It sounds like your machine is struggling to play the files. I would atleast make sure you are capturing video in MP4 if you edit on a PC and MOV if you edit on a Mac. I had the same issue before I realized I was filming in MOV and trying to edit on my PC. If that does not help, try filming something at the lowest possible resolution setting and see if you still get choppy video. If the chppyness goes away on a low res video than we know for sure that your computer is the issue.
+SA Creation By making up content and looking charming. This video is riddled with completely wrong info. I am not trolling and have nothing against him but I am on a mission to let people know they are learning incorrect stuff, at least in this video and his video about NTSC and indoors. He doesn't even have a sophomoric understanding of the formats.
i uploaded footage from my ph4 onto adobe cs6 and its choppy..but when i
just play in on quicktime off my mac its plays fine...? what am i doing
wrong>?
+killercake90 CS6 doesn't like h264 and whether mP4 or mov, you are using h264. Blow the video up to ProRes 422 (not HQ) and you will not lose a generation and you will also find that CS6 doesn't mind the video. H264 works better in CC but CS6 and CS5 HATE HATE HATE h264.
+Todd Taylor You might want to get a newer iPad. Someone said that their iPad mini 4 worked pretty nicely but still had some lag when the phantom got close to the radio so if you must use Apple products, maybe a newer one will solve many of your problems.

If you want a Phantom then just buy the phantom 3 advanced. Great price and
2.7k camera, light bridge and better controller then the standard.. And
it's half the price of the phantom 4. If you need the 4k then go for the
Professional. If you want to do tracking and tap to fly like the Phantom 4
then just use litchi app in the app store which will let you do these
features and then some. I can see no real advantage in paying that much for
a couple more features like the 4 minute longer battery and optical
avoidance cameras which only work for the front of the drone and does not
work for things like power lines.
I hate you you're going to make me buy this thing for $1,400 this is like
the third time I've watched your video jerk. just kidding. .... that thing
is amazing
+09victoryrc I have a Samsung tab and it works fine. This beauty works with Android - worked with my HTC One 8 too. The 12 will need some kind of extension though, as it won't fit in the supplied cradle.
I asked in another video a moment go but I purchased an Airdog back in 2014
when the promised shipment for Nov 2014. Still hasn't been shipped. Will
this do what I need it to do such as follow? Main use will be for adventure
motorcycle riding.
Phantom 3 Standard Camera Gimbal Misalignment and Motor Overload FIXED!
Yesterday, I reported this gimbal motor overload problem hoping for someone out there to help me fix this trouble but while waiting for answers I came across ...
PLEASE HELP p3 pro
I bought and fixed a crashed p3 pro, I had to buy a used gimbal/camera
my gimbal is not getting crazy, just 90 degree o0f horizon level,
so I have checkd this method and it worked, wow I was so happy but then 3
days later i am in the same sopt again.
i open the gimbal again to find out the shaft is turned again.
how does it happend ?? or may be why ?
can i do something to make it stay that way more then one flight ?
please help
+Gilad Langer The shaft may have been detached from the housing. You need to glue it back. Check out this video to see what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3Ii1i3-x3I
+Spurm Does the camera separate from the gimbal? I guess you really have to ensure that it is properly aligned and the camera attachment is not too loose. Checkout this video to see what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3Ii1i3-x3I

DJI Phantom 4 vs Phantom 3 | Which is the better drone? | COMPARISON
Today we'll compare the DJI Phantom 4 with the DJI Phantom 3 Professional. What are the differences? Range, camera, modes (f.e. Active Track, TapFly), ...
Don't forget to include the most important question when it comes to
evaluating the differences in similar technology, especially comparing
between product generations. That question is cost. I work in IT management
and we always do our own Return-on-Investment (ROI) and
Total-Cost-of-Ownership (TCO) to try and make it apples-to-apples. Being
that that Phantom 4 is "supposed" to be technically and operationally
superior .... at what costs? Looking at Amazon.com, it appears to be right
around $500 price difference between the P3P and the P4. There are also
"soft" costs that are hard to quantify, but make a huge difference when it
comes to operational differences. Things like "risk avoidance", which are
the costs to repair or replace your drone because of pilot errors.
Collision avoidance in the P4 would drive down those risks costs. But how
do you quantify that for a very good pilot versus a pilot that has poor
depth perception? That would be worth every bit of the $500 difference in
my opinion, for that type type of pilot. Keep up the good work and thanks!
Greg
+Greg Secrist , oh yeah. My biggest peeve about the P4 from a cost perspective .... the change in battery design!!! For those of us that already have a P3 and purchased extra batteries, we are screwed to the tune of $120 a pop! Makes our decision easy when it comes to tech refresh cosideration. DJI pulled something out of the Apple product design play book when they decided to change the battery compatibility.:(
Save yourself few dollars and get rid of the propellers in the image by
just installing a ND filter in the P3. No need to replace the whole
equipment.
Nice faux pas on the word "hole"! :) I know you meant "whole" equipment, but the fact is that the "P4" equipment has a proverbial "hole" in it's overall design upgrade! :) Not worth the $500 cost difference in my opinion.
+Ho Stevie! ---- I started with the P3 Standard and after just 2 weeks changed up to the Pro. Worth every penny and then some, just for the range. I rationalized over the price difference, then realized my errors. I had very little confidence in how far out I could push the Standard when I started getting weak signal and loss of signal and I could still see the drone profile in the sky. I'm taking less than 1000 feet max in reality. And the other major "whoa" difference was the video signal! With video over a separate WIFI link for the Standard, I would lose control sometimes before video, and sometimes visa-versa. With the PRO, your video signal and control signal are through the same link, but the video downlink is through Lightbridge, which in turn travels over USB from the remote to your tablet or phone. Much, much better video signal ratio to the control signal. They are pretty darn close in degradation the further you fly out. I was at 5000 feet our this weekend and the signal drop was about 50% for both of them at the same time. So, my advice is to save up for the Pro. I ended up buying Both and now looking to sell the Standard on Ebay or to a friend.
Very nice review. subscribed. One big thing which annoyed me much, please
forgive me if I didn't understand correctly, but DJI promised longer
flights up to 5km with phantom 4 compare to 2km for phantom 3. For me it's
big dealbreaker to see this flight distance is shorter, and DJI maybe lying
about those 5km.
Can we get next year review about phantom 3 vs phantom 5 ;P . Just because
I have phantom 3.
Tom I found your last video "Call to Action" quit a disappointment. Being
that is you turned off the ability to leave comments on that video I
thought I'd write you a message on this one. A video asking your viewers to
fund your new camera is a bit inappropriate. Judging by the computers,
cameras and drone you already own it doesn't appear that you're hurting for
money in the least. Honestly until now your content has been very good and
it wouldn't matter if you shot it on an cheap camera or even a mobile phone
if the content is good viewers will watch. Casey Neistat made his beginning
shooting with point and shoot cameras and now has nearly 3 million
subscribers and still to this day uses camera that is fairly affordable.
I've never seen him ask his viewers for monetary support and you shouldn't
be either. Make videos for the passion of making them if the passion is not
there then just stop doing it. I think you owe your viewers an apology for
I'll unsubscribe from your channel☹️
I am new to all this drone-stuff so I have a question..
Does it work with Android driven devices as well (cause I guess it was an
iPad in the video)
Thanks for answering!
Isn't interesting how slow-mo works well... And fast-mo allso does? While
in normal speed this might have looked quite dull?
Was this sped up afterwards in the video-editor by the way? Or is it shot
in 15fps??
+DutchRC ADVENTURES I step speed it up to 4 times , :)
