Nice footage. But HS-TGF 747-400 from Thai wasn`t in Sydney at Jan.16. She
was flying Bangkok/Beijing and back on that day. So either the date is
wrong or a friend of yours was in Sydney. Same G-STBJ 777-300ER. Was not in
down under on Jan.16
+Bernd Klüver Hi Bernd. You need to look more closely. I filmed this and uploaded it on Sat 9 January 2016. Not the 16th of January. So you are probably right that they were in different parts of the work a week later :)
+Sholockman PC You make it sound like I nothing else to do but travel. LOL. I'm still planning my travels for 2016 and as usual I'll aim to fly on some different airlines this year compare to last year. Stay tuned over the next 6 months and see what I come up with. :)
+Patrick Donnolley I forgot to mention, the technical issue I think explains the cancellation of BA15 SIN-SYD on the 7th and BA16 SYD-LHR on the 8th Jan.
+iFlyTheWorld You're right. I checked FlightAware and most probably because of a tech/maintenance issue, BA16/BA15 has experienced delays for the past week now, with around 4-5 hours delay. It's slowly returning back to schedule now. Yes, I think the second aircraft was a re-positioning flight to remove the backlog of passengers.
+Patrick Donnolley Agree. There are regulations around the number of flights and seats. So I wondered if an aircraft went Tech and they needed to move the backlog with a second aircraft.
+Patrick Donnolley Both fly London-Sydney via Singapore. Its because the demand for this route is very big. London and Sydney are very International Cities, so they need much flights i guess...
