The Attack on America's Religious Freedom
From the 1099 provision, to IPAB, to the hundreds of billions in cuts to Medicare, it is clear that President Obama's healthcare law is bad medicine for America.
Thanks Dan....I feel strongly about this too. Question? Do you feel that
the abuse of the 1099 is destroying employment as we know it? example...Fed
ex Ground vs fed ex, contractor hiring contractor. Dish Network, Direct TV.
These are the ones I know about as I am sure there are more. Do 1099's get
counted as employment or business?
I'll sure be glad when the Obama health care plan gets started..I think the

Food Stamp Radio Ad Proves Obama is The Food Stamp President
Recorded on June 29. The Obama administration has launched a marketing campaign saying that Food Stamps will make you look amazing. More people are ...
that public education isn't that great.. USA has one of the lowest ranking
education system and our tests scores prove it so fail, those public roads
are falling apart just like the rest of our infrastructure.. so fail
again.. and SS.. do I even have to go there? By the time I retire I doubt I
will get anything or if anything will be even left to get.. but yea lets
keep forking out all this welfare cause those things are in great shape.
and I never said get rid off those things so fuck off moron
I agree their are people abusing being on Food Stamps. I am on food stamps
but I don't abuse it. My husband lost a really good job awhile ago and not
many jobs are available these days. He is working 40hrs a week on a low
paying job. Im a stay at home mother with 3 children who has been looking
for a job for over a year now. Times are tough and its hard. People think
of a snap of a finger you can pick yourself back up and there is a job
waiting but theres not. I hate being on FS but Im grateful.
On my odd little channel with my odd little homemade videos, I created a
video that argues the case for using food stamps/ebt to make money. My idea
is to use food stamps to buy the ingredients for cookies, pies, cakes or
muffins, and sell them to friends and family. Maybe sell after church.
Famous Amos, Auntie Anne's,...many business' were started on someone's
kitchen table. Once they get a thriving business going, they can get off
food stamps, get out of debt and lift themselves from poverty.
They pay a higher percentage because they have significantly more money.
Those bottom half of workers may not pay federal income tax, but they
certainly don't pay zero. They pay sales tax, Income tax, state taxes,
gasoline taxes and contribue to Medicare, Medicaid and SSI. If you want to
live in a country with a vast disparity in wealth, to keep things fair, the
wealthy have to pay more. Its like you're saying you're better off being
dirt poor not paying federal income tax, than super wealthy.
My in laws are a perfect example. They make middle class salary, but
literally spend every penny. They inherited $60k recently, and instead of
investing for retirement, they spent most of it w/in a few months on a
$22-25k new car and gifts to their kids. My car is 14 years old - they've
had multiple cars in that period! They think spending is "wealth". Most
Americans can't understand the difference between spending a lot vs. having
lots of wealth. Most wealthy people are not big spenders.
A lot of middle and high income jobs in this country were lost in the
recession, and replaced with low income jobs. The guy in the video is
complaining about Americans qualifying for food stamps. I've worked a lot
of jobs, most paid around minimum wage or not much more than that. I live
within my means, the newest car I ever owned is my current one, and its 18
years old. Ive never bought a new car, I've never moved out of my parents
house. All the jobs around here pay shit wages anyways.
Well, these are retired ladies on a fixed income promoting this. So Im not
seeing the problem? Its better then hearing them having to eat cat food to
stay alive. BUT!!...BUT!!....wait for it :) I CAN however see your point of
view on ppl abusing food stamps. It happens everywhere, and the sooner
people realize that your goverment AND mind ( Canada) dont give two sweet
***** about use or our countries...the better off we'll all be...They are
only out for whats best for them PERIOD!!
Reall Kevinmcdshot, more people are on SNAP because more people QUALIFY for
SNAP. If you're against people being on SNAP, don't vote Republican since
they staunchly oppose any increase in the minimum wage which more and more
Americans are reliant on for their livelihood. Look you got two choice, pay
workers shitty wages so they can qualify for SNAP, or pay workers living
wages so they dont qualify. You got Walmart paying their workers $8.86 an
hour and they qualify for SNAP.
Depends on where you go, inner city public educations aren't that good, but
suburb ones can be, where I got mine. We are letting our infrastructure
fall apart in pursuit of lower taxes. SS was set to go bankrupt before,
Ronald Reagan fixed it by changing the payroll taxes for SS, its like you
think a whole program needs scrapped just because it needs adjusted, seems
kind of short sighted and you have a hidden agenda to kill any and all
programs that help out Americans.
Also, while the upper class is wealthier than xx years ago, so is the lower
class! One would never know this because the lefty media concentrates on
the fact the wealthy is doing even better. Of course they are - wealth
increases exponentially like any investment. That's the sign of a decent
economy. The middle class lost $2k during the Bush years and $4k so far
under Obama (and a HUGE increase in our future taxes due to the debt likely
doubling under his 8 years).
They don't just pay more in term of dollars, they also pay a higher
percentage of their income. 50% of workers pay no federal income tax. There
are 155 million workers (out of 330 million Americans total), so 50%
equates to 77 million who pay federal income taxes, and 77 million workers
who do not. Hard to do more for the bottom half of workers than allowing
them to pay ZERO. Any quite a few even get money back due to child tax
credits and "earned" income credits.
