The jobs in the heavy machinery is being simplified because of technology. So less employees are needed to do the same amount of work. Meaning shops won't hire people they don't need. That is the same for other sectors as well, as technology increases across all sectors, less manual labor is needed to do the same work. Your figures just don't add up. And when we can replicate items in seconds, then manual labor will be at all time lows. People will be poor and out of the job, then revolution.

Deduced means Arrive at (a fact or a conclusion) by reasoning; draw as a logical conclusion. I arrived at my conclusion[[one or two months]] by extrapolating from opinion one would the conclusion would be from that opinion. I concluded that if opinion 1, was in fact correct, than one or two months of massive employment should be followed by massive employment. If both opinion 1, and opinion 2 were correct, their shouldn't of been high unemployment during the recession for such a long time because wages droped, yet no one was hiring. Opinion 1 DEMANDS that their should of only been a month or two month long recession, that caused high unemployment, but since the wage was so low, companies should of started hiring right after that recession, and hired in droves. They contradict each other because opinion 1 states that recessions shouldn't happen.

I gave the logic above, that increased productivity means the marginal cost of workers goes down, so more jobs exist, but you can also look empirically at the last 200 years. There has been extreme improvement in the technology of all sectors, and there is and increase of jobs and wealth to match it. If what you said were true, the developed world would be more impoverished than the non-developed world, because capitalism and technology have had a pretty good hold over the last 200 years.
