Can you help me? I'm researching this metal detector and have found them
for sale on eBay. The eBay listings say this is 20.5" long. Yours and
others that I've seen on YouTube appear much longer. Is this 20.5" length
some sort of unassembled length? Does it telescope out to the length I see
in your video? Thanks.
+KnifeTex After a fair amount of research, I bought this item today. It's called a beginner's detector and, I'm sure, in the world of detecting there are "detector snobs" who will look down their noses at you if you don't have a $1,000 or more tool. So I went to comparative sites and, lo and behold, the Bounty Hunter Gold Digger rated a 8.9 out of 10. That was good enough for this beginner. I also bought a proper "detector's digging tool" and now I'm all set. I can't wait to start this new hobby. Yes, quite a coincidence!!
+Luigi Bartolomeo Too funny Luigi... I'm looking on Amazon to spend some of my birthday loot, see this detector, and then search YouTube to see if it's worth a purchase. First comment I see? - Yours! Within 15 hours of each other, we come to this video. What a coinkadink!
+Luigi Bartolomeo You need to ask the seller on Ebay. I can't speak for the seller. And this was some time ago. Don't even know if my son has it anymore.
