You are right they are motorcycle shocks from France unfortianatly they are
a bit costly about 500 euros each, all the parts that I changed were the
seals and I got them made locally I went to a hydronic shop and they made
them for me, the oil I used was Castrol hydraulic oil and I used 3 OZ on
each shock, the triky part and the hardest is putting the air pressure on
each shock witch is 800 psi !!, so what I did I went to a scuba driving
shop and rented a cylinder, I had to make an adapter on the high pressure
hose to fill the shock. If you want mor details we can email each other or
we can talk on skype.
Thank you for posting this video. I have a cosmos with the same shocks and
need to rebuild them as well. Can you do me a HUGE favor and post the
details for the rebuild and where you got the parts?
Seal dimensions?
Oil weight and amount.
Also the piston bushing info.
I already found that mine at set at 35 bar psi.
I haven't torn mine apart yet and I was assuming these were all motorcycle
parts, but since you've done it can you confirm this?
Can't say thanks enough. Cosmos is impossible to get a hold of...
