During the interview with Katie Couric, Carly Fiorina gave intelligent comments from a platform of common sense, which I found refreshing. Fiorina pointed out what is obviously true to anyone that is intelligent enough to understand what real problems are and is willing to see them. The idea of banning coal as a source of fuel for electric power plants is simply absurd. The US has an enormous supply if coal, and it can be burned without producing large quantities of pollutants, using smoke stack "scrubbers" (which is fairly old technology, now), and I imagine even more efficient means of reducing the stack pollutants are being developed. And for years now, power plants have only used coal from Wyoming (as I understand), because of its low sulphur content, which is supposed to burn cleaner. Wind power can help, but it can't replace "conventional" power plants (coal and nuclear) in supplying the enormous power demands of the US. A nuclear WMD getting into the wrong hands - that's a real problem. And If one were used, I think most people would quickly forget about the idea that "Climate Change" is the biggest problem the world is facing. Government bureaucracy with no accountability- that problem should need no explanation, but definitely needs to be "fixed". It's depressingly predicable that the media would focus on Climate Change without even mentioning even one of the issues brought forward by Carly Fiorina.

The Republican Party has developed into a shameless anti-everything party celebrating the evils of corporate exploitation. Anytime a politician sings the praises of abolishing the minimum wage, we can read between the lines. Corporate Welfare YES, anyone else can suck it. - Sorry, but GOP offers NOTHING for the average American to cheer for....NOTHING! Anyone in their right mind supporting Republicans today is a self-loathing sociopath.

Fiorina is a true Republican, and as such has no place in the White House. The right wing direction leads back to the gilded age and eventually the bronze age. The rest of us will move on to the future....without the speed bumps Republicans would put up all over the country. Enough already!

This has become the standard Republican line: the freedom not to be vaccinated is superior to the social responsibility to vaccinate in order to prevent the transmission of diseases. (Fiorina’s comments come a year after an unusual polio-like illness was seen in dozens of children in her home state of California.) Taken to its logical conclusion, Fiorina and other Republicans would give people the option of not stopping at red lights if they are personally or religiously opposed to them.

watched Carly in the Seven Member Debate on Fox tonight...wow, what a gal.... now, I am firmly convinced there are really only two candidates to consider.... Bernie on the Left and Carly on the Right...everyone, in between, is same old, same old!
