+Eric Thomas II Make sure the image/texture layer is rasterized. Right click the layer > rasterize layer. On Mac I believe it is command+shift+I to invert and command+clicking the "T" or small image to the left of the layer name to highlight the boundaries of your text/logo etc.

+Luke ford Control + Shift + I at the same time, yessir. If on Mac, replace ctrl with command button. This will invert your selection.
