Wikipedia Funny #1: Antoine Parmentier, He's Known For Potatoes!
Finally a series I might be able to hold! Tis much appreciated if you leave a like, if I get 5 likes I will upload my next video. Today we look at Antoine, the french ...
i feel like if we hurt others in this way, or animals or the elderly or
children , to satisfy the families is why we need to seek justice and to
put away those who pose a danger, but as for those undeserving pricks who
are released when they should stay locked up or even be put to death, i
believe those who are knowingly cruel in life causing pain and suffering
have a punishment waiting for them when they pass, i think if they killed a
lot of kids - in death, the pain and cries of every one of them if what
they will feel eternally. so many of those evil ones go on and die without
making amends or showing remorse or asking for Gods forgiveness or for the
families, i think if they did all of that, their efforts would count upon
their day of judgement. We are Gods children and he loves us and think of
it like this - what happens if someone causes your kids harm?and those
saints who actually forgive them, well they will be rewarded for that.
that's heroic and selfless and the best way to ensure being re united with
that loved one they lost when their time comes .
The couple you were thinking about was Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend
Robert Maltby. They were attacked in a park because they were goth, so it
qualified as a hate crime. The guys initially went for Robert, but Sophie
laid over him to protect him and thus took the most of the damage. She
ended up in a coma (as did he) but she never woke up. Absolutely
disgusting.
+Obvious Pseudonym me too. It was absolutely disgusting but as you said, unfortunately not surprising. really what shocked me the most was the reaction of the parents of the idiots who did it.
+Anne Sofie Grumsen They beat her to death because she dressed like a Goth. I remember the whole thing (I was part of that Goth scene as a teen myself - remember the shit we used to get for it). Horrible, terrible case. Sadly, I wasn't surprised that a Goth had been murdered.
Don't blame you. I'll look forward to hear your retelling of the story, though I'l probably end up punching things again. The behaviour of the perps and their families only served to fuel an anger back then, and even today.
+Irina Munteanu Yes I remember Sophie Lancaster may she rest in the arms of her love and be at peace with her ancestors.
Bush Tucker: are pink peppercorns edible?
Discussing whether or not the wild pink peppercorns are a wise bush tucker substitute for ordinary black and white pepper. Here are the Wikipedia links to the ...
@EnglishCupcake Thanks for the link.I'll be sure to have a look at it now.I
also earlier found "Harvesting Pink Peppercorns in Florida with Daniel
Vitalis" which is an interesting YouTube vid on harvesting Schinus
terebinthifolius sort of pink peppercorns. It's looking like pink peppercorn
varieties are already well-known amongst certain chefs. Thanks again! As
far as allergies are concerned, ordinary peppers can produce a dry and itchy
burning throat if used in excess.Soaking in vinegar may help?
Well, I'm glad you lived to tell the story. :/ Thanks for sharing! I have
read, in one of my tree books by Sterling Macoboy, that pink peppercorns
have been used in BLENDS, so that would seem to signify that pepper
connoisseurs may be more prudent in the amount they use than you were,
maybe. Perhaps its an acquired taste, like fancy wines and cheeses and
things? Would you consider putting some in a peppermill, and just putting a
very light sprinkling on food, as with an ordinary pepper shaker?
@floydstinkyboy That's a good idea. I never thought of that. He does know a
lot about bush tucker, doesn't he? Actually, I today discovered that there
are already some other pink peppercorn videos on YouTube. The expert
gourmet chefs already use them. You have pink peppercorns of one variety
growing as weed trees in Florida, apparently. I'll have to try putting some
pink peppercorns in my peppermill. But will proceed with caution in case of
allergies. Nice to hear from you again!
Enjoyed the video - thank you. I'm going to take the risk and plot them
into my turkey brine and if its the end of me, so be it. I just ate one and
nothing happened... They were growing atop great trees, in the yard of a
house where I was a party guest. They'd fallen all about, and I just
couldn't resist their glistening, beckoning blush in the dewy mist of a
late night lawn... Cheers!
:/ Well, you've got me all nervous now. I still haven't got around to
trying them, as they aren't out yet. It would appear that they have been
used, in the past, as pepper. Maybe ask Green Deane at EatTheWeeds on
YouTube? He is quite an expert on wild foods and is in your country and
knows your conditions. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Yes, let us
know how you go! ;)
I have used the pink peppercorns in the brine, and tossed it way, and
consumed the turkey, and have had no side effects... Although, I have to
say, there is an unpleasant sharpness with the pink peppercorn, that
exceeds that of the generic black peppercorn... I don't know if it's a
developed taste, or a result of them actually being inedible. I am not
eager to eat them again.

Thanks George, it's very interesting, I've never heard of them before. You
can use pawpaw seeds as a kind of pepper, I tried it once. It was ok, but I
don't think it'll replace black or white pepper as a seasoning.Anyway take
care. cheers
Yes, I would gladly use them sparingly from a pepper grinder. Their limited
inclusion in blends, a peppering if you will, spoke to me in the photos I
found. BTW, green peppercorn sauce over fillet Mignon, sublime. Cheers!
