+USFL Forever Yeah, that is kind of what I have heard. They've been trying for years to get it going and it keeps getting pushed back. My guess is that it will never happen. I live in Baltimore and would love to have spring football. I can't afford to go NFL games. When we had CFL football for two years (94 and 95) I could afford season tickets but as much as i love the Ravens, I can't afford to go to even a single game. I think the NFL needs some real competition.

+Kim Martin There has been some talk about doing just that but they've had some issues getting it off the ground. Also, the last I heard, they were trying to bring it back as a sort of developmental league for the NFL (similar to what NFL Europe used to be) rather than as its own entity. If you're interested, I think they have a website and fb page for "The New USFL"

Man, kicking PATs was quite a challenge in the first season of the USFL, I have never seen so many missed PATs or field goals for that matter in the NFL or even the college level.

kicking wasn't the art form back then that it is today.  I am replaying the 83 USFL season with strat-o-matic and frank corral barely makes half of his fgs and has missed several PATs
