We own a 2011 T&C Limited 4.0. We bought that thing used for $15k with
little mileage. Believe it or not, we are barely touching our fancy $70k
SUV ever since. That van is awesome on highways and the kids LOOOOVE it. It
doesn't have "Ego boost" on it but it has everything else. With the tan
interior and the led lights, it has a very clean feel inside. I wish I
could sit in the back myself, swivel the seat and kick back while my wifes
drives on. Hehe. We especially like the table by the way.
@carlover2013 Hi, Thats funny you should say that. I was chatting with one
of our sales guys and I brought that up. Unfortunately it did not have a
good success rating and many people didnt end up using it, so they stopped
swivel N Go :( I liked the idea so I went to a 2008 TC on our lot to try it
out and the disadvantage is how you cannot move the driver seat if the 2nd
row seat is turned around. Huge factor for someone like me that is 6'2.
I have both a 2005 and a 2007. I love these T&C minivans! I like the older
body style over the new "boxy" style, but the newer ones are much, MUCH
nicer inside. But I can't afford one of the newer ones yet :-( Chrysler:
make the stow-n-gow power without having to pull a gazillion straps. And
make an option to keep the rear camera on all the time, or have a button to
turn it on momentarily while driving...
@SOLDERBOY69 Hi, I am a little confused with this post. This minivan shown
here was listed back in January and didn't last long on our lot. It is
40,000 FULLY loaded, more features than Honda and a lot safer as well.
Safety Tec installed. Because they just came out they were more expensive.
Now, we are offering them a lot cheaper, - 2,000 in rebates, with 0%
financing for 60 Months.
@camarychurch9609 Reliability, Reliability, Reliability!! Chrysler
"invented" the minivan, and Honda tried to copy it but failed miserablty.
On a personal standpoint, I have no idea about resale value. I feel that
the Chrysler would have a better resale. I do, however, have a friend that
bought the Odyssey and regrets not buying another Town and Country. Just
some food for thought.
@S55OAMG here how about this asshole who thinks they know everything TO At
one time Mercedes did own Chrysler from 1998 to 2007 when it sold it
interest to a private equity firm in New York. The Italian automaker Fiat
then bought a 25% interest in Chrysler and it is now called Chrysler Group
LLC. Mercedes has no interest in Chrysler as of 2007. source: Wiki answers
@prettymuchright im get my info from my dad he works as manger in a
mercedes benz dealer he has been working there for 14 years lol look at
there set up i onw a gl450 and a 2010 chrysler t&c. mercedes onws a large
percent of them even the swich to roll donw the windows there the same and
the gauges for the speedometer are the same just the t&c has some chrome
@ramiz10494 Lets talk about stealing ideas! Who came out with Stow-N-Go?
Hmmm. CHRYSLER! Who copied? Hmmmm. All the other manufacturers. Lets see,
who came out with the Safety Tec, that the others didn't have? CHRYSLER!
And yet again, the others copied. Sorry, Chrysler came first with the first
modern mini-van as well and everyone else copied.
@Djonemore Hi, Town & Country provides the selectable fuel economizer. It
adjusts engine timing and transmission shift points to optimize fuel
economy. To activate it, all you have to do is press the "ECON" button.
Standby because in 2012 or 2013 it is alleged that Chrysler will have the
first Hybrid minivan. - Anthony
toyota beats this car in everyway toyotas 3rd row seats one pull fold in
and if that is limited modle its spoused to be auto fold like toyota and
double camera toyota beats this van in every way expect the back seats dont
have heated seats and no steeringwheel heat but I do like the town n contry
when we did own it tho
@MrImacarfan I am so sorry to hear your friend didn't have much luck with
their Town and Country. It sounds like a problem wasn't diagnosed where
ever you have your vehicle serviced and at 70,000 miles their warranty was
not up yet. It sounds like there should be more to the story. All my best,
Anthony
@Djonemore Hello again, Yes, the 2011 Town and Country's have towing
packages available. The Touring, Touring-L, and Limited all have towing
capabilities. Do you live near Carmel, NY? We'd love to give you a test
drive of the new T+C's. Have you been in one? They are FABULOUS! Talk soon,
Anthony
