Why do ignorant people keep insisting that "business experience" is a prerequisite for government service, Especially as a President. A VERY tiny minority of actual past Presidents had experience in private business. It's actually NOT good experience for training to be a politician and STATESMAN. And the few that did USUALLY ended their term in financial scandal. Maybe because they're more interested in the BOTTOM LINE than the GOOD OF THE COUNTRY? Those of you who swallow this crap, I feel so sorry for you. First, do they not pay their actors? They must not to get this sorry of an actor. Second, I love the photoshopped picture of mitt throwing money in the air. Third, I guess because of Obama and Clinton's current wealth in the tens of millions we should call Chelsea Clinton and Sasha and Malia evil spoiled rich kids too right? It's not, it's about EXECUTIVE experience and knowing why an economy grows. Romney had a 1.5% job growth, Obama's was also WEAK, Johnson's was 11.6. Clearly you don't understand how markets work, and as long as businesses play by the rules, stay out of government and do not commit fraud (as hedge funders do, just like the housing market), the competition to achieve a better BOTTOM LINE has driven masses from poverty all around, NOT government. I do not support Romney, but this is class warfare. Obama has never run a business, Romney never dealt with real blue collar employees. Gary Johnson started with a one man handyman business and turned into Big J construction which created 1000 jobs. Johnson also had 11.6% increase in job growth while Romney's was negative. Gotta love this election, just a big nonsense war on who can make better propaganda. Here's a fact, the rich pay a lower tax rate now than they did under half of Reagan's presidency. The proclaimed liberal wealth spreader is giving the rich a lower effective tax rate than Mr. Conservative himself through most of his presidency. He had 2 years to increase that rate with control of the senate and the house through 08-10.

I seriously doubt Obama's wealth is in the "tens of millions" of dollars. He wasn't a millionaire in 2008, and certainly isn't one now, since being POTUS doesn't pay as much as most Wall Street CEO's get. And those other Dem's you mention aren't running for President. (There are no wealthy GOP members of Congress? Yeah, right!). Gore is out of politics in case you forgot. And it's spelled "etc." not "ect." Eejit.

I respect the right to express freedom of speech of all people. As a life long resident of Bloomfield Hills I find this video offensive to the people of Bloomfield Hills. We are a community that prides itself on top notch education, rich in culture, and fine arts, among other things. And being the home to OTHER famous people, not just the Romney family.

Both Obama and Romney are corporate sellouts. Romney is just the more blatant of the two. Thats how our system works. These people have no chance of getting elected without receiving millions of dollars in campaign contributions from corporations. Our 200 year old system of government doesn't work anymore. I'm voting Green Party, but I have no delusions of the representative "democracy" ever working. We need something like a Resource Based Economy to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

The video is satire but alas, everything that they mentioned from holding a student down and forcibily cutting his hair, to claiming poverty while going to university while having tens of thousands in the bank to what Bain capital did to that steel company, its all true. haha oh i see....and that's because you did the fact checking, or because they told you that they did and you believed them? There is a fair share of items that this video talks about that are demonstrably false, and another large portion that are assumptions and conclusions that are probably wrong but can't be proven either way, and then a very small subset of ideas that are verifiably true such as Romney was governor of MA, etc. But don't let me ruin the video for you :) Enjoy

People are not concerned about where you live. The point is whether Romney's background prevents him from understanding the problems of ordinary people. Romney is wealthier than the last eight presidents combined . . . And he has proven that he is perfectly willing to acquire his fortune, by destroying other people's jobs. Bain, for example, plunged Ampad into bankruptcy and extracted 100 million from it. People can understand the difference between success - and sleaze.

The over the top mocking of his wife (eg, tuna from a can) is just juvenile. There's plenty of things to use against him, many of which were used here, but come on, don't stoop that low. What do you live under a rock. Who passed the NDAA? Who illegally invaded Libya? Who continued the wars in the middle east? Who promised to label GMOs? Who has cracked down on medical marijuana more than Bush? Who bailed out the banks? The list goes on and on. Both parties, and both candidates are bought and paid for. Don't kid yourself. Because of the stereotypes that exist, I am terrified that if I tell him where I'm really from, he will instantly see me as his enemy, and disregard every good effort I have tried to put into the city--all because of a generalization.
