You just want to be a little wise ass.I have seen custom repackaged hotwheels auctioned on ebay and they sell for quite a lot of money. £100 and over in some cases. So i would say that's one pretty good reason for doing this. Most people customise them then repackage them for there own collection though. Its as a hobby. A bit like how being a wise ass on YouTube is your hobby..

Yes it is a known problem with those type of packaging. I am not planning on opening that type of cards, i like to keep those carded, but i will definitely want to try with the regular cards.

I just opened 5 packages and they all worked great.  Clean separation, very little graphics lift-up and dries perfectly clean.  The only thing I still can't do it open the premium packages such as Real Riders with this method.  The problem is that the back of the card is laminated and the acetone will not soak into it.

We bought high-concentration acetone from an auto-paints store over a year ago, when we were experimenting with stripping paint from HWs for customs (before we discovered Selleys Strip Off in a spray can that does the job).  Maybe you could try an auto-paints store too?

Exactly, for the nail polish remover kind of acetone brands they have a small amount of acetone. I guess we need that 100% acetone to make it work perfectly. I don't think I can find that here, I just have to look for a bigger concentration of it in the nail polish remover.

You should try it Susan, but only for fun or if you want to keep the cards intact, like I want, or else it is pointless and it is more fun to just rip it off I guess :)

+cobrastvgaming I went to 4 Walgreens, 3 had P case sidekicks, 1 had P case cars on the pegs but 2014 A case cars in the stockroom. I asked and they brought a box out containing 2 Jetsons and a Subaru WRX STI treasure hunt. Next place I found a sidekick that wasn't picked through with a Mazda RX-7 in it. Next place the whole sidekick was went through. Then the last place the whole sidekick was picked through but there was a Mazda RX-7 right in front! When you go to your Walgreens, make sure you ask if there are any in back.

Cool always nice to learn more of Ford as I am a Ford guy. However, the Ford Falcon isn't a USA car, never seen one on the road. Also the HWs version has a right hand steering which is illegal in USA. I think it's a Australian car, but I'm not too sure.

Ummmm I think you made a mistake when I said something. I might have mislead you too when I said "They use this in the UK", I didn't mean the short card, I meant the real car the Ford Falcon. I'm not to familiar w/other Fords from around the world.
