are these tracks where cars only race one at a time? because there's no way I'm running out on the track where cars are flying around blind corners. especially without looking first.

+Chester M Considering that on one of the tracks where there were multiple accidents some cars lost their wheels and yet it was gone/taken care of by the time the next car crashed, I would say yes. Most likely it is a time based contest, not a race like Nascar. Most of those roads were only big enough for one car anyways.

Check out grandpa with the dark sunglasses at 3:11—looks like a blind guy wandering onto the track. He actually puts his hands on the skidding car. Seriously, even though it’s not my place to tell people how to live/die, these vehicles go nearly 100 mph on curves that would be safety-rated between 15 - 25mph, and with fans standing 3 feet away. From Wiki (List of Dakar Rally fatal accidents): “This is a list of Dakar Rally fatal accidents, which consists of all the competitors who have died during a Dakar Rally event, given its notoriety for its incidents between competitors and spectators. “In its thirty-five editions, OVER SEVENTY PEOPLE have died competing in the rally, including twenty seven competitors.” 70 - 27 = 43 dead spectators (at least). If I had a choice, I’d rather go out racing a car than watching someone run over me.

Fucking spectators!! If you end up getting hit, Then it's you're own damn fault for being a fucking retard and standing right on a corner.......Or anywhere near the track for that matter. I for one would never be that close, Maby on a hillside somewhere if i absolutely had too.

Safer to watch from here! Yikes. Sort of laughed at the first one when everything fell out of the boot (trunk), was worried about the guys arm in the second one and then cringed through the rest of them.
