pff thats no project, i did a project much bigger, me and one of my friends
built a castle 180x180(blocks) with three block thick walls and a floor, it
took three days to build the initial castle structure then the better half
of the rest of the month to decorate it (mostly because we were sick of
being near that word), then a tratgety happend, my playstation corrupted
and we lost the world );
lik if u cry evry time
"Well I feel like we might need to bring in stuff, like a tank or a plane
or some vehicle for maintenance"
Who the hell uses tanks and planes to clean stuff up?
This is a video made in Sony Vegas with the Photo Realistic Texture pack was made to show off what the final product of Minecraft could look like. Tell me what ...
@HeyyLookItsAlex Good question, looks like a lot of people are wondering
this. By "Final Product" I mean how minecraft would look in its final
release. Yes I am using a high res texture pack, but it's more than that.
It is the mix of Sony Vegas effects to give bloom, add sparkles as the sun
is setting, make the sun blinding when you first exit a cave until your
eyes adjust, all graphical stuff that minecraft has the potential to have
in its final version. Also I wanted to try out some fX XD
I think minecraft is beautiful as it is :). But it's missing something...
I'd really like more ambient sounds. Like when being close to the ocean
you'd hear the wind blow and the waves splosh up on the beach... When in
caves the slight sound of water dripping and everything echoes... Also
colored lights would be splendid. Imagine a nether portal giving off a
slight purple light, torches giving off more of an orange light and the
moon would give off a more blueish light to guide you...
Looks great up close, but things in the distance look like crap on anything
higher than 64x64. Minecraft doesn't use mipmapping, so highres textures
look grainy when scaled down. You have to turn fog up all the way for it to
be half decent. For all of you following the server, we're back up on
minecraft m13online com We're running a 1.6 vanilla server, so don't panic,
everything will be back to normal once Notch fixes all the bugs introduced
by the bugfix updates.
This looks cool and all but the pixelated way of Minecraft wasn't because
that was the best they could do. They made Minecraft pixelated because it
fits the style of the game. Big blocks with lots of detail kind of defeats
the purpose of big blocks. It is kind of a retro style game and I think
that the texture packs that people make are good enough and aren't too
much. This does look cool but I don't think it would be practical for a
full game.
This has a very realistic feel to it whereas Minecraft's retro graphics
kind of make the game seem fake and almost cartoon-ish. It's nice to see
what Minecraft CAN be like. I earlier mentioned that Minecraft is retro and
that's the way I like it but I find myself wanting it to be like this more
and more. Thanks for this video. This just made my day. :)
I use texture packs, but it is saddening to see things like "...texture
pack was made to show off what the final product of Minecraft could look
like". --- Words like this imply that the game is not intended to look as
it does and that HD is better. There are many of us that have no desire to
see this kind of detail.
Video was great, but I'm not sure what you're getting at here? In the
description you say, "The final product of Minecraft". I don't see anything
different, what's different in this than the normal Minecraft, other than
the texture pack? I'm just trying to confirm and understand this better.
Thanks - Alex D.
@Boomer4Win I was with Alex at first, until I saw you exit a cave and get
all... blind. Which was cool. I think that'd be really awesome to
incorporate. But I really dig the simplicity of the textures as they are. I
think that's why I was drawn to MC in the first place. FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

What I think Minecraft should have is about 10 different textures for each
block which are chosen at random for each block of that type. That should
stop repeating textures which are always a big downfall for HD texture
packs like these.
I can understand why people like these HD packs, but honestly it just looks
ugly with them, it's like making Black ops all pixiled, it just doesn't
match. Also I'm a sony vegas noob, can you tell me what effect was used at
0:17?
The photo realistic pack is nice but it makes everything a bit grainy with
the HD textures. I dont like some of the items but other than the
grainyness i love that pack ad this video was well put together, good job!
I tried this but it was so epic it crashed my Minecraft (all I got is a
laptop with factory GPU). Also, check out GLSL Shader Mod. I can't run it
on my machine but it looks preeeetty dece.
I think that there are 2 changes that if made to minecraft would
drastically increase the graphical appearance of it.. Those two changes are
dynamic shadows and tile transitions.
@Ayevee39 i think you're just mad because your computer cant handle it.
they are called HD packs for a reason, majority of the packs are far
superior to the original.
@Boomer4Win I don't think it will keep its base art style and just leave it
up to texture packs, the final version of minecraft is coming in afew
months I believe
Oh I see what you did there. I thought you were just showing off the
texture pack, lol. You're right, there's lots of potential thanks to the
modding community.
@micalishis Dude, you captured EXACTLY what I was trying to get across in
this video with your comment, so thanks for your comment cause it made my
day ;)
@ReaperFromROBLOX Do they work well for you? I've tried 2 a while back and
the view is still grainy.
How to: Tekkit Sphax Textures
This is a tutorial on how to install sphax pure bdcraft textures into the tekkit classic mod pack! All the links you need to follow along with the video are down below ...
It's fine, don't worry about what he says. Will you be tuning in tonight?
Minecraft Texture Pack Showcase #1: Sphax Pure BD Craft
This texture pack comes in all resolutions, 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, 256x, and even 512x! It is a great texture pack, I suggest you guys check it out. Minecraft Forum ...
Honestly I have to completely disagree, maybe most gamers can, but even
then, that takes up a small portion of the demographic that is computer
users. And even then, a lot of people who make Minecraft videos on the
internet are small children, trying to be the next big thing, who don't
have access to money for hardware upgrades and such. Anyone who can have a
lagless 256x texture pack running while recording has at least a decent
rig, and most people don't have that rig.
Sir, im only 13 years old, i'm going in school and live in a country when
engilish is the SECOND language so i'm sorry if i don't speak the best
engilish. I like to play computer games but will not do it in the future, i
hope. And sure video games are fun to play but when you're an adult you
have to come over video games and start to live in the real world. And
that's it, i'm ignoring you.
@Thoraxe555 My computer can handle up to 128x, but 256 gives it small lag
spikes that are annoying. I just used 32x to accurately represent what most
of the people out there would probably see if they got the pack. Also 64
has a bit of a framerate drop when I'm recording. You have your opinion, I
have mine. You don't have to hate on my videos :)
@mrhow2minecraft i think its the other way around.. you think it looks
"awesome" on 32x32 because your computer cant handle any higher, therefore
you are use to these resolutions.. i play on all types, and for 32x32 wise,
dokucraft light is the best. but sphax is THE best texture pack overall if
you can support 128x128 or higher
Yes you wasted you're money computer, why the fuck do you want a so good
computer? 1 Gtx 680 is more than okey for all the games, including Bf3 so
why he fuck waste the money for DOUBLE Gtx 680, i don't get it... Think
what you could buy with the money from you're second Gtx 680...
Just looked at that as well, made me laugh XD. Even this texture review, I
made this on my old rig. I just uploaded a lagless 256x texture review the
other day. Virtually lagless, I was using my laptop, it's not as good as my
laptop.
Awesome, i would like to play Battlefield 3, Crysis 3 and Minecraft with 12
Gigabytes allocated while running maybe 5 servers (By the way, servers cost
money). And yeah, i don't "whole of my money on a super computer" either.
@Lengi123 yeah, I can do 256 with some framerate lag so I prefer 128. 32x32
just feels like minecraft though, hi res texture packs just dont do it for
me. The art is making something beautiful with a limited amount of pixels
@MachinimaResurection i know. I have fixed that in my later videos, this
was my first video and I was influenced by pretty much everyone around me
who said it that way. Not sure if this is it, but I am Canadian.
@sammybarnet Yeah, this was my second video, so along with the bad sound
quality came the inexperianced lingo. I think I've pretty much gotten into
the habit of pronouncing it right though!
Dude, i bough a new computer lol ;) I promise, my computer is called Taurus
Overkill with 3,4 GHz and geforce gtx 680.... trust me, if u want I can put
out a video on something :P
