a two gallon kit will easily do two coats on the outside. as far as the inside... Not 100% sure to be honest. I'd give Monstaliner a call and talk to them. They have quite a few Jeep owners do their's inside and out. That would give you a much better idea. Just keep in mind that it's also based on how many coats you apply. if you want it thicker you'll need more. On high wear areas I'd put no less than 3 coats if it was my project.
How dare you! It's a Pathfinder! lol J/kI used a 2 gallon kit for the black and it was just barely enough to do two coats on my whole truck and bumpers. No door jams though. If I was you and doing a truck I'd get two 2 gallon kits. The reason why I'd get so much is because I'd want to put as many coats as possible inside the bed of the truck for strength. I'd do 2 maybe 3 coats on the whole outside of the truck including the bed. Whatever get's you complete coverage. Then once it was dry I'd tape off the bed and scuff up the monstaliner in the bed. Then I'd apply the rest of what I had left over inside of the bed. This way it's nice and durable. If you never plan to use the bed then that's a different story but I'm just assuming you are like many people with trucks and plan to haul stuff back there and want it nice and strong.Maybe what you could do is use one kit to do the outside of the truck not including the bed. Just do enough into the bed for a little over lap. If you have left more than you need then put the remaining inside of the bed. Then once it's dry put the other kit in side of the bed. I say this because once you mix this stuff it needs to be used right away. You don't want to have a bunch of it mixed up while you wait for the outside to dry (24 hours).
No issues at all. It's still as bright white as it was when I installed it. That's after being covered in mud for days and dealing with the road salt here in Syracuse.
It's holding up really well. No issues at all and looks as good as the day I finished it. It's also been exposed to the rust belt's snow, sub zero temps and salt issues. Very happy with it. I'm glad I did it. It turned a truck that was very over looked into a head turner when I drive down the road. People love it and always ask me about it.
