+rewrites You sure have a lot of time to criticize Julie and what she's doing. Instead of keeping up with Julie's comments, why aren't you out taking care of your own dogs. I mean sheesh! She's sharing her life with us, if you don't like it, don't watch. So rude!

+Danielle LOL. you act like she's doing a good deed or something...she's sharing her life with us (as do thousands of other people who vlog on youtube) because it pays money. I have no problem with that, but if you are going to share your life online you should be prepared to handle people's opinions. It's just part of the job so to speak.

+rewrites it's not 'dirty' where are you getting this from. the dog is perfectly fine the way he is. the hair is tangled because he's petted constantly! just cut the tangles and he's fine!And the nails are fine too!!! damn it, i had the happiest dog on earth for 13 years and she went to the groomers like ONCE in her life (toy poodle) and it only made her look fluffy. that is all. stop making julie feel bad for not making her dog look prettier & spending unnecessary money.

Some people cut their dog's nails at home and that is perfectly fine. But dogs nails DO need to be cut or else it can really cause them pain in their paws and legs when they walk. As for the hair part, his hair is CONSTANTLY matted up, tangled, and straight up dirty. Tangles in dogs can definitely hurt them and cause pain especially when they're pulled via petting or other accidental ways if they go on too long. And as I said before, it's also just plain dirty.

+Kathleen G I don't have the same type of dog that Brady is and his hair doesn't get tangled up like that but I still take him to a professional. But not EVERY time. I probably do it at home and trim him 3 times for each professional time. I don't think you always have to take him in but when it gets to a certain point you probably should and I think Brady has more than reached that point.

This is very true I own a yorkie and I was told with smaller dogs they have sensitive throats so they make they choking sound

+kimberface this is a great suggestion.. i noticed that too and it makes me cringe. i think she does have a harness for him im pretty sure she always puts it on him when they go in the car together. dont know why she doesn't use it for walks too. my chihuahua LOVES his harness and actually runs away and will growl if you try and take it off him lol

No, it's not my dog. But it doesn't have to be my dog to make note of that awful butchering that she called a "hair cut".

That butchering is what's harsh. You're obviously not a pet owner because if you were, you would have been appalled too. This is not how you cut your pets hair. Sorry if your feelings got hurt, but that was ridiculous.

It's not just about taking him to "pet smart" or whatever kinda groomer it's the fact that he gets to the point where his hair is in knots you can get a dog brush from any store for like $5 brush him so he won't have to get shaved down!! if she wants to groom him herself that's great good on her but at least brush him!! I'm all about saving a buck just as much as the next person,but if your going to be a pet parent then be a pet parent and he's the kinda dog that needs a daily brushing

Awww I do get scared of this especially because my chihuahua is so timid! Luckily I have found multiple places that actually have glass windows/walls into the grooming area and you can watch them the whole time while they're with your dog.

I think it's more than just a shaggy dog look. He had knots in his hair to wear she had to cut them out that's kinda like you not brushing your hair for months!! I love Julie don't get me wrong but at the same time like someone else said you gotta take care of your pet period!!

It's not about the look, the poor dog can't see. It's just like...why have a pet if you can't take care of the responsibilities that come with having one.

Please Julie put some money aside & get Brady a professional haircut by a groomer. It's like $45 bucks @ pets mart that's what I pay for my Maltipoo and while your there get him a harness too & you will see the difference for the better ❤️

Yes. And dogs need their anal glands cleaned periodically as well. I am a single working mom and I still make sure to put some money to the side to get my dog groomed as needed.

I actually completely agree. I don't think him getting huge knots is funny at all :( Poor pup. We are humans so we will clearly never know if it bothers them or not but I don't think that is a reason to not want your little furbabies to be nicely groomed and comfortable whether you as their owner feel it necessary or not. I remember having those super ugly bangs when I was a kid that blocked half my eyes lol and I can feel the discomfort of trying to see through them as if it were yesterday. Can't imagine that it is any more comfortable for an animal.

I agree, I have a maltipoo and his hair gets matted is not combed. I took him to get his hair cut, and I ask the groomer to only cut a little bit of hair, but she said it was necessary to cut his hair really short to get rid of the matted hair. She told me that the matted hair hurts their skin. Oh yeah, Petco is expensive, I once paid $80 for my dog's haircut. Juile try to find a local groomer its way cheaper. Trust me.

 Yeah I keep wondering why Julie doesn't get him professionally groomed. There must be a reason shes not telling us (not in a bad way) Maybe he bit the groomer last time? Or his  personal groomer went on sabbatical lol
