@LambaH4Z4RD That is correct. Dogmeat will follow you to his doom if he has too (and once you get to the military base it is most certainly his doom) But you can keep him alive just make sure to keep giving him stimpacks if he gets low on health. Dogmeat does canonically die however at the military base. :( But he lives in the hearts and minds of us all!

I can't seem to get Dogmeat in my party. As soon as I walk into the casino area, Dogmeat instantly starts following me. Phil and other NPCs act like he's my companion, but I don't get to talk to Phil, nor do I get the 100 extra XP. And Dogmeat doesn't even follow me out of Junktown. Can anyone help?

being a person who read Fallout Equestria before ever playing a fallout game, I got to this part and I'm like "OH MY GOD IT'S FRIENDSHIP CITY!!" he even said the same thing little pip said to that fat mare that was trying to kill the mayor! and I thought FoE was just Fallout 3...

@mrliampep5i I find it funny you had to reply again to say you were first when really the "first" comment is the second comment. Also if you are going to post a comment (even if it is negative) it would be great if you had a bit more material to it. Also, blocked.

I believe I read something by one of the writers that told of all the canon choices and they wrote that Dogmeat dies at the military base. But if you want to believe that the special encounter dog meat is not just an extra and is canon go ahead. Dogmeat lives!

In the first video I set up my character and I chose the perk FAST SHOT. Which doesn't allow me to make aimed shots but does reduce the AP for every weapon by 1. Which is nifty.

@19B0N095 But besides that, yeah the game is really complicated isn't it? I would recommend playing around with speech allot, really opens up what you can do.

No he doesn't, some how canonically it is the same dogmeat in Fallout 2. He was mutated or something.
