@TheDevilsCry3 yes, I've been considering making a tutorial on how to mod
Fallout 3/NV like this for a while, thanks for your interest. One drawback
to actually creating a 360 Fallout mod is that you need the PC version of
Fallout 3 or either Fallout:New Vegas, since you will be converting the
save from 360 to PC and back again, probably multiple times. I taught
myself how to do it from trial and error & reading forums, seeing which
console commands (i.e. codes) would transfer over to the 360.
Right now I am hard at work on a new modded save for Skyrim which will give
you access to dozens of weapons/items/spells which are otherwise
inaccessible unless you are on the PC, some of which I enchanted with
unknown effects. (Many of them do NOT work & may be bugged) + all normal
perks, spells, items, etc. Available in several varieties as Level 1, Level
80, or Level 34,500. Be warned until you're done with the game normally, as
seeing all the items in the game is obviously a huge spoiler.
@diareahmaster I think that a lot of it is because people don't know these
kind of mods are out there. They think it's all about god mode, a million
rounds, and every gun right off the bat. When I decided to start on this
mod over a year ago I was actually surprised somebody hadn't already made
something like this. It's meant to provide more loot to find (but not too
much) and a tougher challenge, but mostly just a lot more action.
OR do the "MODIO WITH MALE OR FEMALE SAVE" Method 1. Format your flash
drive for Xbox and put your gamer profile on it. 2. Open Modio. 3.
Double-click Open a Save 4. Double-click the "Male" or "Female" save file
you just downloaded. 5. A new window will pop up. 6. Click "Save to
Device". 7. Click your device, then your gamer profile 8. Put the Flash
Drive back in your Xbox and enjoy
@MRrealmadridRaul You can put NPC's into your inventory with the GECK then
just drop them where you want them, the ones that have "sandbox" in the
name are the best. They will just kind of wander around near the spot you
put them. For example, the name in the GECK would be
"LvlSuperMutantMeleeSandbox" or something like that.
@MYSTERIOUSxMods Follow the same instructions in the video description to
convert the save back to Xbox with Modio. You have to limit yourself when
using the GECK because if you do too much your changes might not show up.
Which books you get will normally correspond with the mission: For example,
during the quest "Those!", you will find 5 Science and 5 Energy Weapons
Skill Books in a special chest near the Ant Queen's chamber. After spending
some time in a laboratory, it makes sense to come away from the experience
with a deeper knowledge of Science, and another of the rewards in that same
chest will be a unique, very powerful energy weapon such as a MPLX
Novasurge.
[FRAMERATE AND PERFORMANCE] I'm sure many of you are skeptical of this mod
due to the fact that many of the mods that are currently out there, which
claim to do these types of things, are inevitably broken in some way. Many
of them cause the framerate to drop to unacceptable levels, frequent
crashes/freezes, and other undesired operations. I did my best to ensure
that this mod does not noticeably cause you any of these types of problems.
This mod has been tested and tweaked extensively to be sure you enjoy a
smooth framerate, and that crashes and/or freezes are kept to an absolute
minimum. That being said, the game engine is really being pushed to its
limits on the 360 version, therefore weird things can happen, of course.
Also, don't forget that fast-traveling is only a good idea for places
without a hostile presence like Rivet City, Megaton, Andale, Tenpenny
Tower, etc.
[FOLLOWERS] All followers have also been revamped so that they basically
work like your AI-controlled allies in the Call of Duty single-player
campaign, meaning that they will not be getting as many kills as they
normally would, but they also cannot die. Dogmeat is the same as before,
with 15,000 HP like he normally does when you're at Level 30. All the
others only have about 70 hp each, except Fawkes & RL-3, they have about
250 HP.
[SKILLS] The way your skills upgrade is simple. All your skills except
Barter and Medicine start off at 40, with a +10 bonus to two certain
skills. You do not choose where your skill points go. I will instead
reward you with 10 books at a time inside of the final "treasure chest" I
have added somewhere in the location of each mission. That gives you a
total of 20 Skill Points since you start off with the Comprehension perk.
However, when their meager amount of HP is drained, they become
unconscious, they are now "essential" NPC's. Also, all their combat skills
have been nerfed pretty dramatically. I think that the lower HP and combat
skills are an appropriate trade-off since you can take your followers
anywhere without fear of them dying permanently.
[BOSSES] These are not just a single boss out in the wilderness, the bosses
are often surrounded by regular enemies of their type. The bosses are not
just bigger versions of creatures like Behemoths and Deathclaws, they have
stats to match that increased size. There's about seven of them in the game
altogether.
@MRrealmadridRaul Yeah, but I always wait till they are completely done
updating a game before I mod it, and now Skyrim is right around the corner.
Plus I prefer FO3 over New Vegas personally, but it's definitely possible,
the modding tools are basically identical for Oblivion, FO3, and NV.
@EtComeSpearATuTuOh oh sorry about that, the file hosting site I use was
updating or something but everything is back up now. I was pissed about it
at first but hey it's still better than using Megaupload xD
Female Gamesave link is broken 404 error anyway you could put that online??
thanks Keep up the good work I also like your skyrim mods ;-) good job on
the multi-dragons ;-) pretty sweet
