You keep saying a certain number of marks is "better known as blank". I have been bowling in Canada for 15 years and never heard any of these expressions. Are they all New England local slang for marks? We call it 4 in a row. 5 in a row. etc. And we refer to a turkey usually as a triple strike like in ten pin. You guys have a lot of interesting names for the leaves as well that I've never heard of. Very interesting to see the differences.

From about May to November all three Renaissance sets are used on the Ocean. The Ren sets continue to have problems with parts breaking - most of the supply of spare parts has reportedly been exhausted. A set is taken out of service in the off season for repairs and modifications and a Stainless Steel Budd set is substituted. Hence twice a week a Stainless Steel set departs from Halifax. In this case 6400 was in the lead.
