The problem with both ST09 and Into Darkness. Is not necessary they are not Star Trek movie. But that they are just horrible written by the geniuses behind Transformer 1-3, Cowboys & Aliens, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. A writing team with such little imagination they had to ripoff most of Wrath of Kahn. And used Kahn Super Blood thing in Amazing Spider-man 2. Sure these movies might be fun in a superficial way. But the story to both are just fucking crap. If your not going to make a Star Trek movie. At least try to make a good movie. And these are not good. If you want a sci-fi movie that is great all away around. Go watch the Original Star Wars trilogy or Planet of the Apes (old or new) and yes Wrath of Khan..

+Linkjoy123 So Critics can't blinded by nostalgia. Because a lot of the reviews were like. "Well its cool to see Kirk and Spock Again." Even tho this Kirk and Spock are nothing like the Original Kirk and Spock.

+S'chn T'gai Spock lol. they have a 95% and 87% respectively on Rotten tomatoes. While some of the originals have 57% on there. Your point is invalid.

That's why this video is so ironic because it's clearly intended to make fun of Trek fans, but the way it's doing that is by obliviously insulting the masses instead saying "LOL Trekkies are so smart they're boring! It's a good thing I'm dumb cuz explosions are cooler than social drama!!"

+Rumpio Mcgrumpio Yeah this video is scary accurate but the one thing they got wrong is that the originals made quite a bit more sense, rather then just doing things for cool action explosions sake.

Was entertaining, I liked it. Good cast, but nothing really stands out and says how good this movie is. Maybe I went in with my expectations to high. That said still a movie ill put in and watch every now and then. 7/10
