"Going ASL" so your son can grow up to be a competent, literate adult does NOT mean giving up whatever benefit he might get from hearing aids. Glad to hear, err, I mean sign. My grandmother died when I was ten and only knew a handful of signs to communicate with my dad. My aunt, who just turned 80 also barely knows any signs. As a child, it is disheartening and almost sickening to not try and learn the language that your loved one knows and uses to bridge the confusing bridge of the hearing world. Keep working at it. Your son will thank you in the future for your hard work.

We, at first were bullied into trying to get him to go verbal. Bugger that! My son is deaf we use ASL, though his sign is better than mine...I'm learning.

+Crystal C (bankerbe'atch) Thanks for sharing your story Crystal. I am so proud of the deaf culture, since I am a hearing son from a deaf father. My mother, who is hearing, wanted both sons to understand and communicate with our father. The 1950's and 60's encouraged parents to not learn sign language and instead force deaf children to go to oral schools.

I remember when I first got my package 3 years ago. I felt the same way. Stick with it bro, you gone love the program. It looks like your taking BS for Music Production? Ah man Burning out.....that feel alone I experience it several times. Especially in animating. I been learning to take my time, pace myself, and learn when to take a break since I'm constantly just going, and going. Whenever I'm usually stress... never really thought about that part actually lolz. Feedback...I been less descriptive in that area in youtube so I can't say much. Overall good video, like how you gave your opinion on stress relieving. Hope to see more bro :D

liked the commentary....stress has ruined me during my school days and i havent thought about music being a reliever....my reliever has been being organized which is quite weird lol....liked how u talking about giving good criticsm i think thats been lacking in a youtube community...will make a video response to this...i liked it and cuz i dont have any commentary ideas anymore lol
