@the0ffspring00359 Dont look like a 4x4 to me. And i do have a Celica GT4 (ST205). You can see his front weel spins at the start. And there is no turbo sound. Sounds like a N/A engien. And btw. Only the GT-4 have 4x4. rest is pure FWD. So my guess is this is a FWD. And making a 4x4 spin on dry floor ( no water ) is just pure stupidity. I rest my case.

haha actually haha fucking retard, yes for toyota it is a system and its not just the cam, toyotas valves actually have a design to make them lengthen and stretch idiot. its just not applied to this engine. its what the L stands for in VVTL-i. Take apart a 2zz you will understand how much more superior a toyota engine is to a honda engine

not necessarily... i put 10 lbs of boost and a hondata computer and i'm runnin mid 10's! you just need to know how to fuckin tune. vvt with intelligence is good but only if its programmed correctly. otherwise you're missing an essential element.

have just returned home from a drive in my toyota celica t-sport and have had a short run in with a BMW 335i or 325i coupe (at 130 mph i couldn't decipher the middle digit). The point is, that although the BMW eventually got past me after 110 mph, from 40 mph up to 100mph, i was out acclerating the BMW in a straight line. I got past it again in traffic as he was held up, but when clear i slowed to 50mph and waited for him to come behind, floored it and again left him trailing.

cheers dude.. i wasnt actually criticising, i mean how could i?-i used to own a honda civic ep3 type r aka civic LS and that was one of my favourite NA cars so there is nothing wrong with the car above but i was just stating that the 0-60 figures were incorrect..im 25 now so can get insured on bigger cars like the one i own but when i was a lil youger this celica would have 100% been my thing, peace

@gd93223 yeah you probably are. for the fastest acceleration you want to dip into the higher RPMs. I shift my gts around 7k when i want to go fast, i usually wont push her to red line because I want to keep my engine healthy but i do a 0-100 in about 15 seconds.

lol are you crazy??? look at my page and youl see my car.. it does 0-60 in 3.9-4.0seconds.. 0-100 mph in 10 seconds (not 17 seconds like the celica above) and 170mph top speed so dont go betting just yet you silly boy before you end up in debt rehab lol

i also own a celica 190 vvtli, an mine sure as hell dont do 0-60 in 5 secs. even with a super charger you would struggle to hit them times. 7.2s is the exact 0-60 time as stated by toyota. and the red line is 8200rpm

actually it is 141kw and 192hp AND it deffinetly doesnt hit 0-60 in 5 secs :P to be excact it was 6.8 secs.. I got it timed really carefully.. so pls!

I was able to do 60 in 2nd with my '98 Corolla (1ZZFE/M5)... Quickly had to shift into 3rd, due to rev limiter...
