+Luca Munro I felt the same way too. My dad and mom used to sing this song to me all the time when I was little, and that scene in "Saving Mr. Banks" perfectly captured how I felt as a child.

It's a shame that the boy who played Michael, Matthew Garber, died at the age of 21 from pancreatitis (hemorrhagic necrotising pancreatitis to be specific.)

I never said EVERYONE dies from it, only that you CAN die from it. Do notice that Garber caught hepatitis which affected his pancreas.

You can't die from pancreatitis, because my dad had it for over 30 years and he is not dead. He got it before even me or my brother were born and we are 26 and 27.

+Keturah Wilson He caught hepatitis first; that affected his pancreas. Garber had unknowingly contracted hepatitis while in India in 1976. By the time his father was able to get him home to London several months later, the disease had affected his pancreas. Garber's brother Fergus, who was 13 at the time of Matthew's death, denied any suggestion that Matthew was using drugs and said the hepatitis likely came from eating bad meat. On 13 June 1977, Garber died at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, London, of haemorrhagic necrotising pancreatitis, aged 21
