The CMC series is the world's first modular controller system for Cubase. Consisting of six unique USB controllers, CMC gives you all the control options you're ...
Very cool devices, I commend Steinberg for designing controllers in the
mist of all the iPad controller apps that are out there. I use TouchOSC
righ now on my iPad to control Cubase. The big advantage of this is I can
design whatever button, knob or fader configuration I wish. The down side
is that it is still a touch screen and not a controller with real motorized
fader, knobs and buttons. There is something about using real buttons,
faders or knobs that I like. Maybe I am too old school.
I have a CC121. I wish it would work with other versions of Cubase besides
just the AI versions. And the AI version it comes with is a limited version
like an LE from what I can tell. Mine came with AI 4 and I would REALLY
like to have the AI 5 version with pitch correct built in. And it isn't
easy getting an answer from Yamaha with a simple phone call. You have to
dig through mountains of forums on the steinberg site.
OK! AWESOME!! can we chain them? meaning to each other via USB? Seams like
a big USB hub is needed for a setup of 9 PLUS my Dongles - iLok - Interface
- CC121 - external drive - Keyboard controller, :( My Rain computer has 6
USB+mouse and keyboard but my Laptop only 3 USB.. Which USB hub you
recommend Steinberg?
okay so my desktop inac is fine, but macbook pros only have two usb slots -
one for the e-licenser and one for the audio interface, perhaps it would be
wise to implement some sort of hub with this to hook the CMC series
together?
@MrRidisc I'm guessing no because they look like dedicated cubase
controllers but I'm sure there would be a way to edit some script for them
to work. I'd rather wait til ableton comes up with their own though.
@Slah606 Yeah it would be great with live. I'm not feeling very hopeful
though. There hasn't been the slightest mention of any DAW other than
Cubase in all the youtube reviews of this thing
Hi guys Just getting in home recording, but i really like this set up. So
with all the USB's how do i hook that amount to my laptop ? Is there a
powered multi USB unit that i need ? Thanks

This is the track that goes through Irondale and pass right?
They only have one road train making a daily round trip from Gadsden to
Birmingham. they also have a local that runs from Ragland to Birmingham,
but that job typically works at night time.
LOL dunno where that semi thought he was going to go at 2:41 LOL

I really like the nice "staggered" way the trumpets sound as he blows for
the grade crossing. It really is "RS5T greatness". I sure hope some of the
recent purchase SD40-2's end up having nice horns like this one or an RS3L.
There's just something "right" about a low-nose standard cab locomotive
with a RS5T. I like the looks of the locomotive, too: stylish, but all
business.
