The only deskside system that can beat it is the Cray CX1. Try to see what
that would cost you, and you will realize why Dell is cool. Mac Pro PCs are
for people that don't really know what the best hardware out there is, or
simply don't need the best hardware, and like to pay double the price just
so that they can admire it's sleek appearance, and brag to others about how
their Mac is superior to all other types of PCs. They are not bad compared
to average PCs, but can't compare to the best.
@TERRANCIO I try not to brag, and just try to be informative. I use systems
for benchmarking, and for running different programs that need very
powerful graphics. I benchmark because I provide modified workstations to
hundreds of my clients, and I need to make sure they are configured well. I
mostly use AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Inventor. Some of the problem solving
programs I have written would take billions of years to get an answer even
with today's fastest supercomputer. I just need to wait.
@TERRANCIO Windows sucks if you consider all the work that went into it,
but I would use it over Mac OS's like 90% of the time. I just have been
using Dell because they have great 3 warranties, next day-parts, shitloads
of memory sockets, space inside the tower for like 30 SSDs, and using some
raid cards, you can have up to 24 drives in raid 0, and it fully supports
nVidia Quadro plex units. You can't really compare a Mac Pro, with a maxed
out Dell T7500 which can run you over $120k.
@shniku Well, following your fashion, i inform you PC users, that there are
several programs that run in Macs only (thank God for that), we use them
with full confidence, knowing they are NOT gonna crash in the middle of a
session, render etc, and i'm used to work on various platforms, since
1980's... having my first Apple II (1982); like you i also have
"configured" clones, which including Dell are most of the machines out
there... or are they making their own Mobos?
@shniku The thing about Mac users it that WE DON'T BRAG, we don't need to,
we have our machines, we use them everyday, doing real creative work, not
just playing games, or benchmarking, on the other hand, PC users brag all
the time, same way you are doing, sir... so, we, weak humans after all,
fall in your games... and play along, lol btw you have a very powerful PC
in there, what do you use it for, or may i rephrase: what are you going to
hope to use it for?
@roketmode I saw your videos and your systems look awesome. I wanted to
build custom systems, but I really didn't want to spend so much time
building them and having to deal with many companies if components fail.
That is why I just work with Dell. Dell is by far not perfect, and many
custom builds can be up to 100% faster if overclocked using liquid cooling.
It's just too much work for just 100%.
Dell is by far better. Mine has 192GB of DDR3 1333 MHz ram, Dual Xeon W5590
processors, dual Quadro FX 5800's, four 15k rpm 600GB HDD's in raid 0, two
2TB HDD's for storage, a blue-ray burner, and a card reader. Beat that
silly Mac Pro.
ran 6 different speedtest from 6 different sites to get an estimate of my optimum online boost speed of 50/25, fastest i got was 59/26 sites: 1) speedtest.net 2) ...

@refresh967 i hope you don't think that i meant he doesn't deserve it and I
do because thats not what i was trying to say. We don't necessarily deserve
the update its more of an extra thing they're giving us not something they
owe us is what I'm saying. Anyway i got 2.2 today and it's pretty cool.
Soo i manual updated the day of release, and then rooted it via the easy
root app now i got 2.2 rooted, and NOW i got no youtube ability...any
fixes? btw dude doing the video dont talk about how the OTA update goes out
you clearly dont understand how it works
@refresh967 you'll almost definitely get it tomorrow morning. Don't feel to
bad though because anyone who gets it today wont have flash player 10.1
until tomorrow. it's actually not available to us until it gets put on the
market tommorow
@dakotabaker98 download an app called "advanced task killer free", it kills
apps that run in the backround, like facebook and email, and you can choose
what it kills. it makes the battery last ALOT longer. let me know how this
went
@vidman135 haha that has nothing to do with it. have patience you are
getting an update for free so u dont necessarily deserve it. it'll come
when it comes (thats what she said)
@baseballfreak989 we all deserve it dumbass. we baught the phone so we have
the rights on it so its thier job to make the consumer as happy so we do
derserve it.
@refresh967 that's verizon's/frontier's or motorola's fault not mine.
Anyway flash is supposed to be coming on the 18th but as you can see
nothing is set
what is the name of the widget with the 5 button for
