BMW 320i - German highway / autobahn - High speed max 240 (Full HD)
Cruising the German highway / autobahn in a BMW 320i Touring at max speeds of 200-240 km/h. From the Netherlands to Austria. Used a GoPro Hero 3, ...
Hey It seems that many people like 320d at most. So nice to see one 320i :)
And that stability at max speed is fantastic.
Could you tell me please average fuel consumption on the highway? At
130-140km/h ? Maybe 150 :P
Thanks for great video!
+Walter Akkermans Yesterday I had an opportunity to drive 318i LCI. And that EcoPro rocks, even a car looks like 1/2 of all 136horses are dead :D But that 1,5 L 3-cylinder engine ( yea I never though I'll say this) Is actually very good. So can't wait for ride in 320i. Hope next year I'll buy one. Thanks a lot!
+Sund4nce thanks, ye its amazingly stable. The fuel consumption at 130 is about 5,6l/100km. To give you another idea. We drove from Rotterdam area (NL) to the Grossglockner Hochalpstrasse (Bruck, Austria). So 2250km retour, german highway at often high speeds, mountain roads. Average fuel consumption was 9,3l/100km. Bmw's EfficientEcoDynamics rocks also!
The steering wheel in the US edition of the 320i looks different, at least
in the bmwusa web site photos. It does not have the V shaped chrome part.
Also i notice that this is a Touring edition of the 320i, which also does
not show up on the bmwusa web site.
+dalew101 i understand the MPH change, but i doubt your safety standards in the usa are higher than here in NL/Germany (also considering we drive faster here) ^^
+Krishna Menon The United States gets limited BMW versions because they have to make a different version of the car to sell it in the United States. They use MPH and have high EPA/safety standards which prevents the automaker from having multiple versions in the US.
+Andrew Provodnikov haha, well. Its a different engine, diesel-based, which needs more torque to get similar performance. I just looked it up, gasoline vs diesel: they reach same max speeds of 228 vs 226 and similar 0 to 100 sprint, 7,5s vs 7,4s. Both are superb cars!
+Andrew Provodnikov the 'i' is the gasoline variant, the 'd' stands for the diesel version. I have driven in the 'd' also, they are just similar in road stability and such. So its two different engines, but the same car and similar power. Diesel has a bit more torque but its a diesel engine, so thats common. I had the 'i' because its not my own car and the other had this one :)
+joegolden481 ye i was positively surprised of the steadiness as well, amazing. Even at max speeds or braking fast. Its better than the comparable audi a4 at high speed. Never driven the mercedes equivalent though

Hohohohohoh!!!LOL!!! I know the guy's a Doctor....but it's just soooo
funny!! Am I wrong!?!??
He's incorrect. Sturmartillaire was not just for Panzer support.
StuGs,Marders, and others were assigned directly to infantry divisions as
well as corps and army level units that supported infantry.
