How do they calculate your speed if there are no calibration marks on the
road?

Yeah, same happens here. 12points maximum, takes 2yrs for a fine to drop-off that list. You can do a 12mnth 'good behaviour' thing, but ifu accumulate ANY points, you lose ya licence for 6mnths>:(
