@UTubeuzername84 I really appreciate your comment. I only speak from the
heart and my personal experiences. I am a college administrator and I talk
to young ladies everyday who are broken from relationships. For these
reasons, I started mentoring them and teaching them the truth about dating.
After doing that for a few years, I was encouraged by others to take my
message to youtube and that is how these videos got started. So in these
videos I am honestly speaking from the heart.
@Sahnya80 Thank you for watching and commenting. I am glad this video was
able to help you. Remember that you are a queen and deserve to be treated
as such. Stay strong!!!! Let us know if we can be any support for you :-).
great video man! ..i really hope u actually mean all of the things u say
when talking to young women...because some of the things u say especially
in this video sound pretty shocking coming out of a young mans mouth.
@coreychutney well keep up the good work...young women need 2 hear this
stuff..god bless u!
Peter Lake: Facilitator U vs. Compliance U
Keynote address from Peter Lake at URMIA's 45th Annual Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Lake, director of the Center for Excellence in Higher Education ...
I also reside near durham, so welcome.perhaps the hubby and i can get
together with the two of u in the future (once u all are married up and
settled :0 ). By the way, congrats on the upcoming wedding and GRET VID! We
need a "THATS WHAT IM SAYIN' " button as opposed to just a "like" and
"dislike" button!
This is great advice and much needed. The woman or the man should not
settle. It's good for people to be alone and get to know who they are and
what they need to be looking for. Congrats to you guys. It would be awesome
if you post your wedding on YT....lol
Aw, this is so sweet. It nearly brought me to tears to hear a Black man be
so supportive and say nice things about Black women. I still don't believe
in "Black Love" but the concept of it is nice and your wife is a lucky
woman. :)
@verynaturalgirl Chutney and I would love to meet up with you and the hubby
in the future. Our email address is [email protected]. Send us an
email so we can communicate.
You commented that you try to let God lead you when doing these
discussions. I just listened to this video and have been sitting here after
it went off for like 5 minutes, speechless (in a wonderful way!!) This was
absolutely the most inspirational, uplifting, heart-tuggin', hope-bringing
message I've heard in a very, very long time. Oh, I was going to just
respond to the comment about letting God lead you guys in your videos...
Well, keep up the great work. Please! I wish I could find the words to say
just how powerful and uplifting the message you and your lovely wife share
is. I have seriously not felt anything close to hope or excitement in a
very long time, despite my efforts. It's been a bizarre and extremely bumpy
road lately and seemingly out of nowhere, so I just want you guys to know
that what you're sharing/doing is making an insanely positive impact on
people, me included. Like I said, this message brought real hope to me,
even though I was starting to think the feeling of hope was dying for me.
Well, I'm just rambling off in an attempt to say how great yall's
videos/messages are and tell ya'll how grateful I am! So, thank you! Also,
it was noticeable from the first few minutes in that the message was going
to be one that was actually useful and respectful/Godly rather than the
all-too-common "relationship advice" that just keeps telling people the
same things. Like you said, you guys aren't going to say "get all dressed
up, etc." When I heard that part, I hit subscribe! :) I knew this was the
kind of couple channel I would find useful and interesting, and be able to
relate to most. So major kudos for the genuine, real, honest and very
unique advice! Gosh it's so refreshing to finally hear some clean, happy
relationship advice! I'm so used to the typical "more sex = better
relationship" and "dress up more." That type of objectifying message really
starts to hurt, so thanks so much for the uplifting one! Oh... I guess I
became un-speechless once I began typing. :/ In fewer words: this channel
is the best! Thank you two for your great work. ;)
Hello Corey I'm new to u and ur beautiful wife's channel and I'm lovin how
much u respect her, she's an extremely blessed woman. I was wondering if u
could do a show about "who r u in your marriage"? I'm a 28 yr old educated
blk woman n I've been married for 8 yrs to a educated blk man, however
since we we're dating I haven't been able to get him to put down the video
game n put in a true effort to things that make me happy. I've expressed my
feelings of his lack of interest many times, even p

@coreyguyton no that is not me. That is the praise group from Tisha's
church... I love that song so much. Was listening to it tonight sent me
straight into worship...
You are very close to putting your finger on a serious problem. Which is...
Applied human value vs applied value to objects. The word value is the same
in sound only as it relates to both issues. But that is the problem. We are
all trained to define value as it relates to objects. But that approach
becomes a problem when we define value for ourselves and for that matter
anyone else. Let us start be understanding "value" as its applied to "Life
and Lives". Congrats to your calling my Brother.
