What a strange receiver... it looks like someone glued on an engraved metal plate Very pretty bolt and stock though What is that 7mm rem calibre? Is it basically just a smaller 300winmag?

The Lexus seems to be a real classy Steyr. The video along with soundtrack, is really appropriate and well done!! Loved it!!

+FormerMPSGT These are Leupold STD mounts, I believe these were medium height, but can't be 100% sure. I don't think these rifles (at least in Europe) come with the mounts.

+elstyr When put safety on you automatically disengage a set trigger feature, so the next time you want to make a shot your hair trigger is unset. Just a safety feature I think it is quite good idea.

+ninjakawa1000 Forgot to mention that I used to own a Steyer in 300 Win. Not ashamed to say it had a little too much "kick" for me. Since I don't LR hunt, either of my two 30.06s will do the same job.

+ninjakawa1000 Bought my Tikka T3 Laminated Stainless (.308 win) in 2009. Mounted a Zeiss Duralyt 3-12x50. Fantastic combo! Taken many deer with it. And this is coming from a guy who has a Blaser R93 in .308 (also a fantastic rifle)...

+Scott Thorning I always liked Mannlicher rifles, I frequently use older M model, Pro Hunter was also not too bad, tried new SM12 and looks like a nice improvement over the Pro Hunter.

not not really expensive :) 200 US $ plus i had to get an Ipod plus installation so it was like over 300 dollars. That radio when it was released it cost about 350 alone. but the new model came out x100 so the price dropped. I'm driving vw gti 20th anniversary 2003 in europe as I remember that model was called 25th Jubilee edition. :) its a lot of fun to drive. Thank you for you're comment.

I thought all are the same :P I have no idea dude, but the radio is sweet and you know what is cool about it ? the iphone you hook this up so you can play mp3's plus when somebody is calling you ? the music fades down. You stop talking on the iphone. The music goes back again. That just blew my mind totally. Sweet peace of equipment :)

nope there's no Changing colors not that model Buddy. I thought the same thing on the beginning but for 199 i think its a great equipment and sound quality crispy clear :) Thats why I love Alpine I had on my previous car 2003 eclipse so I bought that one. I really recommend to everyone. Peace !!!

@JorgeGioTV U need a wire usb from radio to the ipod. but newer models have now built in USB on face of the radio so its much better. my buddy had one like this in his bmw z3 pretty neat just plug in usb flash drive to face radio, done... no wires stickin out much nicer :o)

Sounds great. Can you control the ipod using the ipod? cause i have heard of people complaining about the alpine controlling the ipod. Also did you buy the alpine interface cable or are you using the supplied USB cable?

yes stock speakers. Sounds awesome, with that radio you can hear more deep bass and clear trebles :) I had alpine before on my 03 eclipse gts so I knew they sound good. I bought another one to my v dub.

I dont really know I bought that one cause it was cheap. Look up on google x300 and x200 to see the difference. But i gotta tell you, it sounds really good with deep bass and sweet clean Treble.

Plus the x300 has a different display screen. I had a hard time deciding which one to get. I ended up with the x200 and am very happy with it.
