Northwestern college athletes paid Videos

This is a really interesting subject & it's difficult to pick a side on this. Colleges make so much money hand over fist that it's completely ridiculous how much they have the nerve to charge for tuition. That's a whole other subject though... Players ARE sort-of compensated via scholarships. I don't think they should be compensated because they are amateurs. The problem is that there's a LOT of overhead in policing whether or not athletes are being given money or bribed to go to one school or another. This is part of the price of doing business though, the NCAA makes a ridiculous amount of money off of ad revenues & media deals that they SHOULD pay people to enforce their rules.

While I am not a football enthusiast, I do think they should get at least a little money just because they cant have a job. The rule states that they cant get a job because they can argue that they would get hired just because they are a college athlete. The school gets all the money. Surely they give some the athletes some money in order to pay for their essential needs such as meals, clothes, & books. They do however get a full ride so they saved loads of money and they can use that for their needs.
