But heating a battery yet is still needed to accomplish a long range
solution in winter. Almost all cars seem to have range problems in winter.
May it be due to heating the drivers cabin or the battery. Why not use
fossil fuels or bio fuels for what they are doing best, generating
heat?Funnily at home people use oil for heating while taking electric
energy for heating cars. Seems odd to me. sincerely: Lunia
Well, than surely you are right. For countries such as California it would
not be needed. Unfortunately living in the vast cold of Europe we depend on
fossil fuels or bio-ethanol unless there are new battery technologies or
fuel cells. sincerely: Lunia
hope hot countries dont include that, bio ethanol is corbon neutral since
it's grown it releases the Co2 it absorved when growing, but when not
necessary it's extra weight, and... burning stuff is so the present, kinda
wanted some future there
You have a point, you are totaly correct. I refer to hot countries alone.
there are countries that dont require heating even the colder seasons. Im
just saying burning fuel should stop being mandatory.
Your going to carry liquid fuel to use ONLY when it's cold out to heat the
cabin. Now your loosing energy all the time carrying around the extra
weight.
