I just hope that one day Bing maps will have public transportation. And
maybe even air and train travel. I mean it would be cool for it to give me
a list of possible airplanes and train I could take along with prices to
make it easier to plan a trip. especially if i need to go across the
country to a city that is a bit away from an airport but does have a train
station. Also, what about if it could give me a list of taxi's I could call
too, right from the maps section, that would be so cool
I wish they added the BING places to the checkin option under the me
tile... Now it uses a list from facebook... It's far from complete and i am
unable to add a new place ... I guess because i dont have facebook ...
Really dissapointed that windows forces me on facebook just to enjoy all
the phone features... I am just fine just having a windows live account..
:( Facebook sucks!
@KidBajan There are new plans coming out for different company's, an
average cost for a data plan is $30 bucks, then there is also another plan
which usually comes to around $15 but that has a limited amount of data you
can use.
windows phone 7's would be pretty much genius, if there were some... at
least.. lets say three tabs on your desktop (which is missing too)...
putting all this stuff to the "square menu" is not a good way to go imo
Windows have got to include voice guided turn by turn navigation. Nokia and
Android have free GPS solutions, and if Microsoft want Bing maps to be
taken seriously, they must dothe same. Otherwise it looks nice.
@cirkusarena the current bing map application on windows mobiles phones,
out today, do have voice guided navigation. If they leave that off in WP7,
that'll be pretty dumb.
There's no navigation in this video - only directions - and I haven't seen
navigation mentioned any where else. Hope it's introduced pretty quickly -
also multitasking.
@ChattMapple Yes, that is something i also hope...it would be very nice
when i do not need to boot up my desktop because my MacBook is running all
the time...
@DylanTalks Right ...... That's exactly what they were saying when Google a
year ago bragged about how their Wave was gonna defeat Microsoft. What
about now?
