+reptile master No. if the temp was set too high, it may cause it too burn. but aslong as its on a thermostat it wont overheat and the animal will be fine :)
Garter snake care yeah right that tank is too small you could kill them and
don't feed them to much and mine are mating right now and they're a good
size!
This is exactly what I'm looking for. My room is kept at 75 degrees
constantly for my tarantulas so one of these is perfect as a beginner snake
I think. I have heat mats but I prefer a less demanding snake that will be
comfortable handled at my room temp. Awesome colors blending to full black
is cool too.
Being that these are cold tolerant species, what is the feeding frequency
of these guys? I have a growing soft spot of the larger Lampropeltis.
Particularly hondurensis and andesiana
